🧚♀️ Adding just a dash of digital pixie dust… So as not to get bored, it’s often fun to play with new approaches to story. Technology offers the ability to do much, but sometimes subdued and subtle is as or more powerful than overt enhancements. As humans, we take pleasure in discovery and noticing things that aren’t always immediately obvious. While visiting an art gallery in Charleston, SC yesterday this quality of artist craft was never more apparent — several paintings presented beautifully at first glance… but the longer and closer we looked, the more we saw in small flourishes that implied texture and light. We started to see vignettes within the larger story, detail of not just the technique but also more meaning, more magic. Taking a step back to BASIC iPhone-captured content around #DisneyParks, nothing like gallery art 🤣, the idea of adding small flourishes of motion to otherwise just okay images might be fun for a spell! Jake Sully Polystone Statue #604/1000 | Sideshow Collectibles | 2012-2013. Hi there! In today’s post I’ll show you this spectacular statue of Jake Sully from Sideshow Collectibles! I’ll start by saying that this statue is an absolute masterpiece, it’s incredible to look at it in person. We can see Jake in the middle of the final battle of the first film, holding his gun while screaming, ready to destroy the RDA army. Every single detail is incredible starting from the jewellery, the paintjob, his hair, his clothes and armour. All the bracelets, necklaces, feathers that he’s wearing are perfect and accurate, even the bioluminescent dots all over his body are. The portrait is very well done and so is his headpiece. This statue is overall the perfect representation of Toruk Makto himself. This statue came in two different versions the Collector and the Exclusive version with a switch-out hand with his knife to replace the gun, 1000 pieces worldwide for the Collector version and 200 for the Exclusive one. I’m so in love with statue, one of my favourite pieces from my collection! Avatar Funko Pops | Funko | 2022-2023. Hi everyone in today’s post more Avatar Funko Pops! This series of figures is entirely dedicated to the first film and it features four regular figures and a special one which is Toruk Makto himself, Jake Sully! We basically got the same characters of the second series except for “Battle Neytiri” which replaces Lo’ak. They all look amazing with their different weapons and guns that we can see in the movie and “Battle Neytiri” is absolutely awesome, straight from the final battle! Toruk Makto is very impressive and massive! Jake looks so good and scary at the same time on Toruk, holding his gun just like during the final battle, ready to take down everything on his way! Avatar Jake Sully Warrior action figure | Mattel | 2009. Hi everyone, in today’s post I’ll show you this fantastic action figure of Jake by Mattel! In 2009, Mattel launched a whole line of action figures dedicated to the first film and it featured most of the main characters, creatures and vehicles that we saw in the film. The main series featured figures (humans and Avatars/Na’vi) that had a regular size of about 4 inch/10cm. In addition, there was a smaller series called “Movie Masters” that featured four bigger figures and this is one of them! I really love the look of this figure, especially the details and the large combination of colours. The war paint, jewellery and equipment that Jake is wearing are absolutely similar to those that we see in the film and I think it’s so good to see them in this figure! I think Mattel did an amazing job with these figures and I really love collecting them! What’s your opinion on this figure and the rest of the line? Avatar original 35mm frames. Hello everyone! Today I want to show you something a little different! These are all original 35mm frames from the first film! As you can see, they come straight from an original movie roll so each one is pretty unique! From what I’ve been told, they come from an actual movie roll that has been used in a cinema in 2009 so they’re even more cool and rare! Avatar The Way Of Water movie cups | Golden Link | 2022. Hello there! In today’s post I’ll show you this movie cups made for TWOW! You could find them in cinemas when the film came out and you could get them by getting a specific menu. As you can see, they feature creatures from both the first and the second film and two different versions of cups. I really like the fact that they used two different kind of bases for the animals to distinguish them from the first to the second film, so the Ikran and and the Pa’li have a rocky base while the others have a water one. For being so small, the figures are really cute and well done and have a big variety of colors and details! Getting them all was pretty hard because they were so expensive and you couldn’t even choose the figure at the top of the cup, but here they are! What do you think of them? Avatar The Game Nintendo Wii Collector’s edition | Ubisoft | 2009. Hi everyone! In today’s post I will show you this collector’s edition of Avatar The Game for Nintendo Wii! Avatar The Game is the first videogame that we got from the first film and it came out for ps3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS and PSP in 2009 and there was a collector’s edition for each console. This version includes the game and a special action figure of Tsu’Tey from Mattel! This figure is different from the normal one sold by Mattel because it features bioluminescent dots that shine under UV light! Also, Tsu’Tey is very detailed and well made for being so small, just like the rest of all the Mattel line! I think the game is still really nice and fun to play and, in my opinion, it was so good at the time it came out, maybe ahead for its time. What do you think about the game? Did you play it? In today’s post I will show you this exclusive ticket made by Cinespalafox in 2022 to celebrate the release of Avatar The Way Of Water. This ticket was available to purchase in Cinespalafox cinemas in Spain at the time the movie came out. It’s basically an alternative version of a regular ticket and it’s part of the whole collection of Megaentradas that they sell. As you can see on the top of the second picture, TWOW is the 49th film of the whole collection. It also features the names of people who worked on the film, including James Cameron of course. Avatar porcelain figures | Alcara | 2011. In today’s post I’ll show you these very pretty figures made by Alcara for France only in 2011. There are different “series” and bundles of these, that I will show you in the future, and this is the one that i like to call “the blue one”. This series features ten different miniatures of the first film, each one hand painted. Despite their very short scale, they’re very well made and full of little details which make them even more good looking. You can definitely see that they’re hand painted and what I like the most about them is the shiny and glossy look they have, as I try to show in the videos. Another cool aspect of these miniatures is the texture of the clothes of Grace and Quaritch which feels very “mossy” in order to be more realistic as possible. Neytiri Polystone Statue #1673/1750| Sideshow Collectibles | 2010-2011. Hello everyone, I decided to start the page by showing you my first piece, the one that started it all! This statue, by Sideshow Collectibles, resembles the essence of Neytiri in all her beauty. The paint job on this statue is incredible and full of details from the base to Neytiri’s body and bow. Her portrait is very well done, the clothes and jewelry she’s wearing are absolutely perfect and true to those she wears in the film. You can perfectly see all of her stripes and bioluminescent dots all over her body and face and they’re 100% accurate. This statue came in two different editions: the collector edition and the exclusive edition which features a switch out hand. J'aime beaucoup rester tard dans les parcs et prendre le temps d'admirer les lieux dans une ambiance toute particulière. En hiver, j'apprécie particulièrement le parc Animal Kingdom et sa section "Pandora".
