The Blue Bayou is a highly sought-after dining reservation at Disneyland Park. 🏴☠️✨ Now, reservations can be a tricky business, but here’s a tip: book exactly 60 days in advance right when they open at 6am PT. These dining reservations go QUICK, so you have to be on top of it. Or, if you have me as your travel planner, I’ll take care of them for you! 🥰 (I don’t want to jinx it, but I’ve always been able to get reservations for my clients!) One tip - make sure you get your reservation as close to opening time as possible if you want near-water seating. They fill those tables first and it’s easier to get a table near the water first thing than later on in the day. You’ve got to try the Monte Cristo, Chicken Gumbo, and Creme Brulee - they are all so delicious! If you’re like me and you want the Pommes Frites (garlic parmesan fries), you can only get those with the Monte Cristo at Cafe Orleans - they have very similar menus. So I decided I’m ready to revive my blog, and I’m on a mission to try & review all of the vegan options at Disneyland! I was probably pretty close in 2019, but it turns out there is a LOT of new stuff, and this is a way more ambitious feat than I realized. 😅 I’m still in, but it might take me a little while! I recently tried both of the new lunch/dinner items from Red Rose Taverne in Fantasyland. 🌹 I really enjoyed the salad, the seasoned chickpeas were great, but I wish it was a little bigger because it’s not a meal on its own, IMO. Maybe next time I’ll get it with a side of tots? The burger was okay, but not my favorite of the three vegan sandwiches Red Rose Taverne has offered (I loved the samosa sandwich and enchanted cauliflower, both were repeat purchases for me). Texture is important with bean burgers, and even though I love almost anything on brioche, it made this sandwich too.. squishy? Something needs to be crunchy in there, right? I would probably skip this in the future, but that’s okay because I have lots of other stuff to try! Salade du Jardin 🥗 Kale Mix, Shredded Carrots, Crispy Chickpeas, Orange Sections and Dried Cranberries with Citrus Vinaigrette Candelabra’s Flaming Burger 🍔 House-made Black Bean Patty with Spicy Chipotle-Lime Aїoli, Arugula and Pepper Jack, on a Brioche-style Bun served with Cuties® Mandarin Oranges or Taverne Potato Bites

Visited Goofy’s Kitchen today! My first time and it was their Sensational Springtime Buffet. I forgot to take photos of their Shrimp and Prime Rib & Turkey offerings but those were the specials from March 28th to May 12th! Sharing another project I worked on this week!! Had to DIY a 🍓T-shirt to match my super cute 🍓 headband! The gold glitter strawberry seeds part was a pain in the 𝙱𝙴𝙷𝙸𝙽𝙳 to do… I highly don’t recommend working with HTV when there’s such tiny details. 🤣 Definitely could use some more practice — up close you can see the tiny mess-ups and the HTV starting to shrivel and wrinkle. I must not be using the right settings for my heat press??
