Honest Disneyland Pixar Fest Food Review: 🍦 The Eeeeeeye Scream Cone 💰$9.29, mobile order/Magic Key discount 📍 Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor “Scoop of pistachio ice cream dipped in green chocolate garnished with eye candy and horns” This was the number one food eye wanted to try for Pixar Fest. It’s visually stunning, with the eye-conic Mike Wazowski representation. I mobile ordered it, and it was made fresh when I arrived. It is a single scoop of eye scream, with Jordan almond ears, on a small waffle cone 👏The good: if you like pistachio ice cream this is top tier quality, no fake coloring either, it was scrumptious. The jordan almond ears were a really nice surprise and were also delish. The white chocolate coating was tasty, not too sweet. 👎 The bad: This eye scream cone will lull you into a false sense of security that you can walk away from Gibson girl without keeping your EYE on it. But make no mistake, Mike Wazowskis insides are turning into a puddle of goo. The moment you bite into it, the melted ice cream will be alllll over your hands. Half of my eye scream cone either went all over my hands or on the floor. My advice would be to eat it at Gibson girl immediately, ask for a bowl, and grab plenty of napkins. There is no photographic evidence of me eating this cone bc I was held hostage by this eeeeye scream cone, my hands were literally covered with eyeee scream. I would absolutely order this again, I would just be better prepared. And now you will be too 😁. Ube Mickey Shaped Beignets Description: Mickey shaped beignets dusted with Ube Powdered Sugar Rating: 7.5/10 Taste: It tastes sweet and a little bit like taro to me. It’s a fruity sweet, but not too much. The beignets themselves could’ve been fuller; they were full on some ends and then on others they were more hallow. At some points it tasted like I was eating buttered popcorn. I would taste sweet ube powdered sugar and then all of a sudden there was a random hit of buttered popcorn. It was good, but I think it’s more of a try the first two times and not really a get it every time type thing. I still recommend people to try it, but I’d start off with just the 3 pack. I’m so glad that I was 100% wrong about this year’s Food & Wine Festival in DCA at Disneyland. This was the first Disney food festival that I got to try every single non dessert food item and I will definitely be ranking them all in a future video. 9 lanyards later (thank you @the_disney_diva and @dearmrkenny for donating leftover tabs!) and I can honestly say there was only one item I got, out of 63 tabs, which was too gross to order again. Happy solar eclipse day! Let's review the Galaxy Parfait from the Galactic Grill in Tomorrowland. I'm the type of person who adores sugar, and you will almost never hear me say something has too much sugar... this might have too much sugar. 😅 And again, I love sugar, so I don't necessarily see this as a bad thing, but if a person like me who never finds things too sweet finds a dessert too sweet, then maybe those who are more sensitive to sugar would find an issue with it. I thought the flavors were delicious, though. Chocolate cake and raspberries are two of my favorite foods, so it's like this was made for me. Every bite was delicious, even if extra sweet. Honestly, my only issue was the mess. Photo 2 is my hand after simply holding the lid as I ate. I didn't even see much residue on the lid, but clearly, there was some. And when I went to clean my hands (using tissues and hand sanitizer while in the line for the Matterhorn), it just spread the blue around, so it looked like my hand was bruised. 🤣 Overall, I highly recommend this treat. It's super delicious, but maybe plan to share with a friend if you don't enjoy overly sweet things. Also, don't get it on your face unless you want to look like you're a Na'vi. 😁
We found a secret Wine Cellar at Disney! Well, maybe it's not a secret, but it's tucked back in the Italy pavilion! It's called Tutto Gusto! There are no reservations needed, and you can order a full meal here ( they have the same menu as Tutto Italiano, the table service Italian restaurant next door). It's a good thing we always look at the Menu on the Disney app because we caught a discrepancy of almost $10 on Lacey's wine flight! That's right, it was listed as $17 on the app, but on the paper menu it was $26 🙄. Do you always look at the menus on the Disney app ahead of time? Here’s our review of Captain Jack’s - Restaurant des Pirates in Disneyland Paris! 🏴☠️⚓️🌴 Captain Jack’s is a sit down restaurant that offers Creole inspired dishes, specializing in seafood and tropical flavors. It’s also located INSIDE the Pirates of the Carribean attraction, similar to the Blue Bayou in Disneyland. We enjoyed the theming and atmosphere of the restaurant and chose the Pirates Treasure Menu which includes a Starter, Main Course, and Dessert for €45 (around $49). Coming from Walt Disney World prices, we thought this was a great deal. Overall we thought the food was fine, with some dishes being better than others. The desserts were lovely, but the starters and main courses lacked a wow factor. Ben said, “the food is decent, but you’re mainly there for a fun environment and to enjoy being inside Pirates of the Caribbean.” We’re excited to try different DLP restaurants during future trips! Have you tried anything from Disney California Adventure’s Food & Wine Festival yet? I have a few more things to try then I’ll be sharing a full review. But, I have to say, I’m really not feeling it this year. It feels like there are less booths and there are definitely less food & drink options. Some of the booths only have 1 food option. And of everything I have tried so far, I didn’t really care for anything, I even ended up throwing a couple items away. Coronado Springs Resort is my favorite and Toledo at the tip top of the tower was delicious! They said there are great views of the firework shows up there but even with a window seat facing studios, it wasn’t as good as California grill. The drinks were nice and my husband got one of the Spanish wines. He would recommend trying them at least once. Also make sure to get the Pan con Tomate (bread and tomato), crispy toasted bread and a stunning seasoning on the tomato purée.
Just one question: Have you eaten the Floridian Eggs Benedict at Steakhouse 71? They're traditional eggs benedict served with a crab cake on top! If you like crab cakes, this one is a real home run! I got a breakfast dining reservation, enjoyed this amazing meal, asked for some Joffrey's coffee to go, and then hopped on the Monorail for a magical day in The Kingdom. It has quickly become my favorite routine for an MK day! Food and Wine Festival 2024🍷🍇 I had such an amazing time being back in the parks after over 4 months of being away and what an amazing event to be able to come back to! Food and Wine is my favorite festival. There were so many new food offerings. I made it a point to try all new things and not get anything I've had in the past. Don't get me wrong. There are some favorites from past festivals that I would of like to get, but my first time back trying all new foods was the way to go. 🍽️ time for a cruise food review! here are some of my favorite dishes from my time on the Disney Dream! (In no particular order): 1. Gnocchi from Royal Palace 2. Prime Rib, Potato Purée, Green Beans at Animator’s Palette 3. Vanellope’s Sweet Treats! Here I got the cookie dough ice cream with unicorn sprinkles and chocolate pearls 4. Forgot the name to this but it’s a crab ravioli starter but it’s sooo good at Animator’s Palette 5. Lobster Ravioli at Enchanted Garden 6. Cream of Asparagus and Crab Meat Soup at Enchanted Garden 7. Veggies, Double Baked Potato, and a meat I also forgot the name of that was yum at Enchanted Garden 8. Date Pudding Cake with Vanilla Topping, Ice Cream, and Cookie Base at Enchanted Garden 9. Churro Mickey Waffles! The supreme form of a Mickey waffle!!! We had them one day on the ship and they’re my new fave! • Overall, I give my food experiences on the ship a 7/10. It is located inside the land and the restaurant actually rotates around very slowly giving you different views while you dine. You will be eating farm fresh food and it is so tasty, so be sure to ask for more since its all you can eat family dining! As you rotate around, you will see different views from Living with the Land, a hidden Mickey on the wall, and meet Chip, Dale, Pluto, and Mickey! For breakfast, you will find a typical Disney family style breakfast with eggs, waffles, bacon, sausage, pastry, and fresh fruit. Your non-alcoholic beverages and dessert are also included. Pricing: kids - $30 & adults $47 before tax and gratuity. For lunch and dinner, you will get cornbread, salad, steak, turkey, veggies, mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes. 🎉 Restaurant Review 🎉 Located in the center of Disney World’s Old Key West Resort, you’ll find “Olivia’s Cafe”, which is a delicious take on food that you’d find in the Florida Keys. The restaurant ambiance felt like you were at a family owned beach establishment, and it was beautiful! Olivia’s Cafe serves both brunch and dinner, and on this particular day, we tried the brunch, and we were pleasantly surprised! We highly enjoyed both things we tried: -Southernmost Buttermilk Chicken: Which comes with a large portion of fried chicken covered in white gravy, one of the best biscuits I’ve ever had, mashed potatoes and seasonal veggies. -Shrimp Fritters: Which I can best describe to you as slightly spicy shrimp hush puppies. Very delicious, very fresh tasting! As with most Disney restaurants that we’ve been to, the service was impeccable as well. Can’t wait to go back and try more!

It really sucks because the first sip was so good, and then the after taste of the orange and grapefruit was not enjoyable. The mango jellies weren’t bad. Here’s everything I ate at Festival the Arts 2024🎨! •••••••✨ Cuisine Classique was my first stop, and I had the Beef Wellington and the Cast Iron-Roasted P.E.I. Mussels. The Beef Wellington may not be my favorite, but it is an excellent go-to. But the must-try of this booth has to be the muscles. I think I’ve purchased this item every year that it’s been on the menu of this festival. It’s a good portion, and it’s just delicious. ✨ The next booth I visited was the Craftman’s Courtyard, and I tried the grilled marinated steak sandwich and the Grilled Pork Belly. The grilled marinated steak sandwich was better than I expected because I had high expectations for the following item: the Grilled Pork Belly. The Pork Belly was at the top of my list of must-tries, but unfortunately, it was not my favorite, and I probably won’t get it again. ✨ 🇨🇦-Next was the Canada booth, and I tried the wild mushroom risotto and the bone marrow. I had no expectations for the wild mushroom risotto, but it was perfect. But my favorite item had to be the bone marrow, and it is an ideal opportunity for anybody who hasn’t tried bone marrow. I love bone marrow, and I enjoyed this. ✨ 🇺🇸-The next stop we stopped in America at The Artist’s Table and got the Duck and Dumplings. I was going to bypass this booth, but my boyfriend wanted to try it, and I am happy he did because it was delicious. ✨ 🇨🇳-The last stop of the night was at the Painted Panda, and I got the Char Siu Pork Bun. let’s talk disney cruise line food! i will be honest and say the food is VERY hit or miss. there isn’t much seasoning on anything because they are trying to appeal to a wide variety of tastes. when it came to the meats, such as the filet and the jerk chicken, they were really lacking in flavor for me, and i quickly realized i should not keep ordering any meats from the restaurants on board. when i would opt for a pasta dish instead, i found that i really enjoyed my dinners. the tangled pesto pasta and the mushroom ravioli from palo were my top favorite dishes. i wish i could have the mushroom ravioli again, i think about it every day… i really wish i got to try palo dinner, everyone we talked to about it said it was amazing! from our brunch experience there i could tell that the food was A LOT more flavorful. breakfasts were all the same, we either ate at lumiere’s or cabanas, and it was very similar to any breakfast you’d get at a buffet in the parks. the ICE CREAM MACHINE was my best friend. that ice cream is magical…i don’t know what they do to make it so special but i kept going back for more. lastly, the chicken fingers🫶🏻 disney just does them RIGHT. that was my typical lunch, chicken fingers and fries, and every day they never failed. overall, i had a good experience with the food! wyatt wasn’t a fan of most of his dinners until the last night at animator’s palate (which was my favorite, but i’ll get into that in another post). i just learned quickly to stick to the pastas for a surefire way to enjoy my dinner!

❣️🌯asian-style burrito🌯❣️ -🌟🌟🌟🌟 - guys…this burrito was so delicious! I love burritos, so of course I was intrigued by this one. It is described as: korean marinated beef🥩, kimchi fried rice with bacon🥓, gochujang, cabbage salad with almonds and toasted Ramen🍜, topped with gochujang aïoli. 😋 The flavors were flavor-ing!! The beef was so tender, it had that classic kbbq flavor with a nice sweetness to it. The kimchi fried rice with bacon was delightful, and made the burrito filling! The gochujang aioli really did it for me!🌶️ the gochujang added a nice balance of flavors to combat the sweet barbecue flavor of the meat. Topolino’s Terrace breakfast overview! Topolino’s Terrace is located at The Riviera resort on the top floor and is a French and Italian inspired restaurant that serves character breakfast and signature dining for dinner. This review is showcasing the character breakfast specifically! Breakfast is a set cost of $49 for adults & $30 for children currently. You will get a pastry basket for the table, a choice of an entree, and a non-alcoholic beverage included in that cost. You also get to meet Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy during your visit and they are dressed in their adorable artist outfits! After you eat, you also get access to spend time on the gorgeous terrace and take in the views. There is seating offered as well if you would like to like to sit down and relax after your meal! Topolino’s, along with all Disney restaurants, handles an allergy so well! With a nut allergy, they do not bring out the nutella spread option with the pastry basket and they mark all of my meals with the allergy flag. I always feel safe when dining in Disney with a severe allergy! I truly cannot recommend this elevated character dining breakfast enough! The restaurant is stunning and so easy to get to with the skyliner access. The characters are so adorable and spend so much time with you at your table. The food is AMAZING and always succeeds my expectations. The view and time you get to spend on the terrace is just the cherry on top because that gorgeous Florida weather and the views of Disney World property cannot be beat!

Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta has a Gingerbread Cheesecake with vanilla mousse and a white chocolate gingerbread man, which is a cute treat for the holiday season and so flavorful. It has a super strong gingerbread flavor and almost tastes a bit like a snickerdoodle as it is very heavy on the cinnamon.
