Avis de restaurant : Toledo – Tapas, Steak & Seafood Lors de mon dernier voyage au @waltdisneyworld je suis allée faire un petit tour à un restaurant que je n’avais jamais essayé auparavant, soit le Toledo – Tapas, Steak & Seafood. Et c’est définitivement un restaurant qui vaut la peine de découvrir, surtout si vous voulez passer du bon temps en amoureux. Toledo est situé au dernier étage de la nouvelle tour Gran Destino du Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. C’est un restaurant très chic avec un magnifique plafond rose et orange qui change de couleur tout au long de la nuit ainsi que quelques oliviers. On peut d’ailleurs voir du restaurant le Disney’s Hollywood Studios, EPCOT et Disney’s Blizzard Beach. La vue est assez époustouflante! Personnellement J’ai mangé en entrée des Olives marinées « aceitunas » ainsi que le plat principale végétaliens « Mezcla de Verduras » avec un petit à côté de de choux de Bruxelles et laisser-moi vous dire que c’était plus que délicieux. J’en rêve encore! Mon conjoint pour sa part, s’est régalé du poulet braisé au rioja. Il me parle encore des raisins marinés qui accompagnait le plat. Bref, ce restaurant est parfait pour une soirée en amoureux et un repas un peu plus haut de gamme! When it comes to good Mexican food at Disney World, Maya Grill at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort ranks at the top for us. 🌮 We both love the different variations of the quesadillas. They're easily made gluten free by swapping out flour tortillas for corn. ✅ Mix & match different fillings too. You can choose from chicken or steak on the menu, but the restaurant can also make the quesadillas with plant-based meat too. They also have dairy free cheese available if you ask! 💡 For vegetarians or vegans, the refried black beans served with the quesadillas do typically contain pork, so be sure to double-check when you're ordering. 🍅 The chips, salsa, and queso are all great starters too. The two salsas include a salsa roja and an avocado verde. ✅ For those who can have dairy, the queso is our favorite on Disney property. If you're dairy free, we recommend swapping out the queso for guacamole which is also delicious & naturally DF. 💡 The tortilla chips are made in a dedicated gluten free & allergy fryer. 💡 Although Maya Grill is not owned and operated by the Disney Company and is run by a 3rd party, they do a fantastic job at accommodating for special dietary needs. Resort Spotlight! Disney’s Coronado Springs is one of my favorite moderate resorts. The addition of Gran Destino tower made it feel more like a deluxe resort and the dining options are great! We love having multiple options for food and at Coronado, you have a lot. While this resort is fairly spread out, it does have internal bus stops where guests can get picked up and transferred to and from the parks. Coronado’s main pool also has one of the best water slides on property, not to mention their awesome playground and sand volleyball courts. This is a frozen cocktail that comes with Don Q Coconut Rum, Almond Liquor, fresh Lime, Piña Colada and Passion Fruit Purée. 📍 Find at the Laguna Bar (not listed on the menu, but you can still order it) or the Siestas Cantina pool bar *Important: Laguna Bar doesn’t open until 5 p.m. Siestas Cantina opens at 10 a.m. 💵 $16.00 This is similar to a Piña Colada, but SO much better. On my last trip I stayed at Coronado Springs for the first time and it was dreamy! Loved the theming, had a bus stop right behind our building for access to the parks, and we were close to the pool. My only downside was how far away we were from the main building for access to the shop and food but it didn’t make much difference if we were at the parks all day. Would love to stay in Gran Destino Tower one day! Not in the near future though because I love to stay at different resorts. The bucket list is to have stayed at them all one day but who knows if that will ever be financially possible! 😂 Do you tend to stay at the same place on each visit or do you like to mix it up?

Sometimes an entree surprises you in a good way. ⭐️ The Plancha-seared Mahi Mahi and Shrimp entree from Three Bridges Bar & Grill at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort totally exceeded expectations and then some. It was SO good! 🌶️ If you like Thai red curry, you will love this dish which came with Grilled Mahi Mahi, Shrimp, Basmati Rice, Bok Choy, Thai Red Coconut-Curry Sauce, and Mint. It wasn’t overly spicy but did have a pleasant bit of heat to it. ✅ This dish was marked Gluten Free and safe for Egg, Peanut, Sesame, and Soy Allergies. This appetizer was a bit of a miss for us. The original queso served at Three Bridges used to be made with Oaxaca and Manchego cheeses, which was so good. 🤤 VACATION FOODIE FINDS 🤤 I love seafood tacos BUT.....do not even think about putting cheese on it. A good seafood taco needs something crunchy, a zingy sauce, something fruity and something pickled...at least in my opinion. I was blown away by these shrimp tacos at the Siesta Cantina pool bar at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. These were citrus-marinated grilled shrimp with roasted pineapple salsa, lettuce, picked onions and lime aioli. Sub out the lettuce for a crunchy slaw and these would have been the best shrimp tacos I've ever had. 🧐 Fun fact - ever wonder why pickled onions are so pink? The heat causes the cell walls of red onions to break down essentially mixing the red skin color with the white part. The Grand Destino Tower at the Coronado Spri is resort is lovely! We had a beautiful view of the lake, courtyard, & pool from the 12th floor. Remeber to carve out time to enjoy your resort hotel.
