I’m still trying to wrap my mind around the fact that it’s all over because it literally feels like only yesterday I registered for all these races. I guess it’s true what they say: time goes by fast when you’re having fun! Looking back: this season required a lot of work, dedication + sacrifice - on top of a lot of studying/writing because for the first half of this season, I was in the process of finishing my masters degree. So here we are: at the end. I had the most amazing time, met some of the most amazing people + made the best memories. 3 Things you should never do at Disney World! Breaks💤 If you’re traveling with toddlers, you need breaks to eithed destress or take a small nap. Many go back to their hotel or find a quiet sit down restaurant. Even without toddlers, I personally benefit from a small break in my day. This helps me last to fireworks or after hours events! Ponchos🌧️ This one is pretty self explanatory. Florida weather can never make up its mind. One minute it’ll be sunny, next it’ll be pouring rain for 5 mins then completely stop. So just be prepared! Dining Experiences🍔 Many dining experiences say this is a 60-90 minutes experience. If you have 2 booked a day, that’s at least 2 hours that cuts into park time! If you’re someone who wants to maximize your time in the parks, this could be a big factor in planning. But this is why we are here! On our last trip to Disney World, we took some first timers with us. We only had time to visit EPCOT and Magic Kingdom with them, but it was very sweet on the last day to hear my sister-in-law tell me that she now 'gets it'. She gets why we do this. Disney World may not be for everyone. It may not be on your list of must-see places. EPCOT was the only thing my brother wanted to see, but we pushed them into going with us to Magic Kingdom also. We didn't do every ride; we didn't eat all the food (an attempt was made) but what we did gain was the invaluable 'core memories' that will last a lifetime. That is what Disney is to us. Can we talk about Boardwalk Inn at Disney World? 😍 I feel like this resort is not very popular with people, and I can’t figure out why! When I stayed there in 2022, I absolutely loved the vibe, the location, the activities…it was great! And now that they’re finishing up the renovations of the rooms, it’s going to be better than ever! One thing about staying at Boardwalk is you don’t need a lot of park days to be entertained. There is so much to do right there outside your resort’s doors…dancing, shopping, eating, bicycling, boats, Skyliner- the list could go on! So tell me, is Boardwalk completely underrated or is it really a bleh resort for you?

The hidden Mickey above is from Topolino’s Terrance at Disney’s Riviera Resort! This is an example of a hidden Mickey that will always be here! But what about hidden Mickey’s that are left by the cast members ? 🤔 Mouskeeping is the best with leaving subtle Disney hints to come back to after a long day in the parks! I once came back to my blankets all rolled into a Mickey shape! If you leave out any stuffed animals, they may include them as well! Another time, when leaving our room at All Star Sports, the rocks over by the pool were in a Mickey shape!
