Where in Disney are we? Dumbo! My absolute favorite ride as a kid. My family likes to tell the story of waiting, in the Florida heat, for what seemed like forever for Dumbo. It was finally our turn & I wouldn’t go on because the Dumbo wasn’t pink [come on, that’s reasonable!]. I insisted we wait for the next ride so I would have a pink Dumbo 💗🐘 Kiddo 2 used to be scared of this ride [when she was age 2 and 6]. She will now ride it, but still skips Magical Carpets which is pretty similar. Tip Tuesday: No matter what ticket type you have, you can leave the parks and then come back later! I get asked this question a lot. You are able to go to the parks in the morning, take a break in the afternoon and go back to your resort, and then go back to the parks! If you have a base ticket-you have to stick with the same park you started at. But you can come and go all day long as long as it’s the same park. If you have park hoppers-you can go to multiple parks in one day. Our normal routine is to rope drop in the morning. Then go back to the resort to swim and relax. These are pretty amazing and I’m a donut snob. They’re pretty big for donut holes and the fact that they are served warm is next level. A couple of these make a yummy and quick breakfast on the go. If you need something more substantial, my sons love the chicken biscuits from here. Spring rolls from the Adventureland cart…the flavors tend to be on rotation and I’ve seen cheeseburger, pepperoni pizza, and buffalo chicken. During my last visit they were serving cheeseburger and pepperoni. You can get 2 of the same or one of each, which is what I did. I’ll tell you, I was pretty loyal to the cheeseburger ones but that pepperoni pizza one might be my new favorite. Sully slush…who doesn’t love this big blue furry guy? This slushy will have you loving him even more. It’s a light and refreshing blue raspberry slush, dotted with purple whipped cream that I think tastes like grape, but my sons beg to differ. Either way, this is a delightful treat on a hot Florida day, and it can be found at Cosmic Rays Starlight Cafe. I see your Mickey pretzel and I raise you up a notch to the pepper-jack stuffed pretzel! My husband actually stumbled upon this one several years ago over at the Cheshire cafe and it’s also found at Westward Ho. This is a warm pretzel filled with a not too spicy pepper-jack cheese. This also makes a quick lunch on the go and it’s totally shareable. The Cheshire Cat tail is something straight out of a fairy tale. It’s a warm pastry filled with mini chocolate chips, that are always gooey and melty. It’s drizzled with pink and purple icing to look like the Cheshire Cat, one of my favorite characters. This delectable treat can be found at the Cheshire Cafe.
