Disney’s All Star Sports Resort is a great option for those looking for an affordable option for your @waltdisneyworld vacation! The rooms feature a standard bed and a pull down table bed, and both are super comfortable! The bathroom is stocked with H2O toiletry products- especially helpful if you are flying in and don’t want to bring along all your bath products. The amenities include a food court (with lots of yummy options), pools, outdoor play areas, bell services, guest services, and complimentary Disney bus transportation. Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge is one of my favorite areas in all of @waltdisneyworld! The theming is so immersive, making you feel like you are truly in a galaxy far, far away! Rise of the Resistance is one of my top 3 rides in @waltdisneyworld and my favorite ride at Hollywood Studios! I recommend getting an Individual Lightening Lane for this attraction, as wait times can get quite long during high crowd level days. The other attraction in this area, Millennium Falcon Smugglers Run, has a single rider option that I love to utilize when traveling solo or in a group of adults that doesn’t mind riding separately. We have saved SO much time in past trips using this trick! Another favorite of mine here is Oga’s Cantina which features fun themed cocktails and mocktails! The atmosphere is great and reservations are typically pretty easy to snag! The Crystal Palace is a dining location located right off of Main Street in the Magic Kingdom! We had breakfast here our last trip & loved it! Our overall scores would be: Food 7/10- Classic breakfast food with some unique items! Service 10/10- The wait staff and character attendants were all so sweet & attentive! Experience 10/10- Food was yummy, characters were great, & the overall experience was very relaxing! I’ll share one secret tip about this restaurant: They flip services from breakfast to lunch around 11am, so if you have a reservation around 10:30 you can actually grab food from the buffet during both services! Rainy days at @waltdisneyworld are some of my favorite! I’m about 2 weeks out from being back at Disney which means constantly checking the weather forecast until it’s time to leave! Most places rain is a fun killer, however if you are prepared, Disney parks in the rain can be SO fun! Also lots of times rain = lower crowds = lower wait times! The Skyliner is my favorite form of @waltdisneyworld transportation! Connecting Epcot, Hollywood Studios, & the surrounding resorts it’s an easy way to go place to place, escape the heat, and take in some great views! I love hopping on during park days to park hop from Epcot to Hollywood Studios in no time at all! I also love going on a “Skyliner Crawl” during days outside of the parks to enjoy different resorts’ food, drinks, & entertainment! There’s so many awesome resorts close to the Skyliner like Pop Century (value), Caribbean Beach (moderate), or Riveria (deluxe). You really can’t go wrong with any of your choices! Let’s talk all things Genie+, Individual Lightening Lanes, & Virtual Queues! Genie+ is Disney’s reimagined Fastpass+ system. It is available for purchase each day you are visiting @waltdisneyworld. This purchase allows you to make selections for attractions where you have a significantly decreased wait time, entering a separate queue. You are able to make your first Lightening Lane selection at 7am for whichever park you are visiting. You may continue to make selections throughout your park day for decreased wait times. Individual Lightening Lanes are available for popular attractions like Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind, Tron Light Cycle Run, & more! These selections allow you to pay a fee to enter the Lightening Lane Queue, bypassing the regular wait time. These again can be purchased at 7am and sell out very quickly! The prices range daily depending on crowd levels. Virtual Queues are currently in use at Tron Light Cycle Run & Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind. These are the only standard option to ride these attractions. The Virtual Queue opens at 7am and reaches capacity very quickly. There are also opportunities to get a Virtual Queue pass at 1pm if you are in the park already. Additionally, guests staying at Deluxe Resorts can get a Virtual Queue at 6pm on nights with Deluxe Extended Evening Hours. These systems can be overwhelming for Disney newbies and veterans alike. Epcot’s upcoming Festival of the Arts menus were announced today! This festival runs January 12- February 19 this year, so you have over a month to enjoy the art, food, & music! On the My Disney Experience app there is a whole section dedicated to the festival showing the food studio menus, Broadway performer schedule, and the dining package options. This is a perfect spot to find all the information you may need! As someone with an allergy, I am SO excited that Disney has started making an allergen guide for each festival at Epcot. This is beyond helpful for anyone with an allergy to plan ahead what is available for them to snack on!
