Happy 4th Birthday, Bugsy!!! 🥳🕺🏼❤️ Bugsy’s family shared these celebration pics along with a really touching update and we wanted to share here too because this birthday celebration is a very big deal. In the update, mom notes that this time last year, they weren’t sure Bugsy would make it to his 4th birthday. His family could not even get him safely in and out to the bathroom and the living situation was really hard for everyone, Bugsy included. The first videos they sent us before we met him were heartbreaking. We were guarded about Bugsy’s prognosis too, as was the veterinary behaviorist we partner with for his case, but everyone was on board to give Bugsy our best and see if we could turn things around. Bugsy’s progress has exceeded all of our expectations and also in his most recent update, mom says they feel like they have their dog back. We are taking next steps slowly to minimize the chance of any regression but this buddy’s birthday celebration is such a heartwarming milestone that we want to shout out how proud we are of him and his family and what a true pleasure it has been being part of this success story. 🥹🥲 Happiest birthday ever, Bugsy!!! 🙌🏽❤️

A few weeks ago, we got to take @austinanimalcenter #adoptable boy Binkles on two sponsored outings thanks to one of his best #volunteer friends. 🥰 This morning, she messaged us that this sweet buddy is still at the shelter and feeling pretty stressed. While Binkles finds the shelter environment overwhelming, he’s a rockstar out in the world. On his first field trip, he frolicked at the park and got to explore on a long line to find all the best sniffs. On his second outing, he got to go for a home visit where he proved that he’s excellent in that setting and it’s definitely where he belongs! ❤️ Binkles is hoping his adventure buddy for keeps comes along soon. He is extremely polite when asking for snacks, will check in frequently on his walks or stick by your side, and hops up willingly and rides quietly in the car. Blitz enjoys leaning in for affection, and has previously lived with a female dog and playful cat.
