Trampoline: first of all, this was a new optional for me(added a 4th double). I also had never connected the full thing until this very moment. The back straight and barani straight were ugly lol. But at that moment, all I wanted was to make a 10 skill routine. I was already qualified on both events from states and had already planned on doing a new double mini pass, so I guess just go all in. Not gonna lie, those first couple skills were scary to connect and I have been trying to put those skill together since the beginning of the season, so glad I got to compete it finally. Regionals was a success and now back to the gym for clean up before elite challenge! I also want to say thank you to anyone and everyone who pushed me out of my comfort zone the past couple weeks to do new things at this comp. What a treat! Doubleback is the wine project of former NFL quarterback, Drew Bledsoe, who returned to his home town of Walla Walla in 2007 to be part of the flourishing local wine industry. He and his wife Maura released their first vintage (2007) of the Doubleback Walla Walla Valley Cabernet Sauvignon in 2009, made in collaboration with legendary Walla Walla winemaker Chris Figgins (Leonetti, Figgins). Today, the husband-and-wife team, together with CEO and winemaker Josh McDaniels, still produce their famous wine under the Doubleback label, consistently considered one of America’s best Cab. They are also involved in numerous other projects, including the Bledsoe Family wine label and many other ventures promoting the wonderful and diverse terroirs of the state Use of French oak barriques (~60% new) is the norm at Doubleback. Matured for 22 months, these wines are long-lived and certainly benefit from several years of bottle age.
