Draper, Utah . . Looking for brunch this weekend? I got you! We recently heard the Cliff Dining Pub has really good brunch, so we checked it out! We waited about 15 minutes to get in. Not terrible. Our waitress was really great! Very informative. We ordered a caramel macchiato, iced. It was so good! So glad they were able to make this accommodation to the usual hot drink. I loved the beignets that come complimentary with the breakfast meals. I ordered a pineapple mimosa that was good. For meals, I ordered the Vegetarian Eggs Benedict. It comes with spinach & tomatoes & we added avocado. I asked for extra hollandaise sauce. The extra hollandaise sauce was an added bonus to meal. We also ordered the chicken & waffles & they were good. The side potatoes on both dishes were soo good! Very original, nothing we’ve ever had. Make sure you get the potatoes! 🎶 You know me, a little bit of cinnamon 🎶 (Name that musical!) • • I often get asked if someone should buy a waffle cone maker. If we’re being reasonable, no. But if we’re thinking with our stomach, most definitely especially if it’s for cinnamon sugar cones! 👀 • Ingredients(makes 3) Cone: 1 egg white 2tbsp heavy cream 1/4 sugar 1/4 tsp cinnamon Large pinch of salt 1/2-1 tsp vanilla paste 2 1/2 tbsp unsalted butter (melted) 1/3 cup AP flour Coating: 2 tbsp cinnamon 1/3 cup granulated sugar Recipe: 1) combine egg white and cream in medium bowl. 2) add in sugar, cinnamon, salt, and vanilla. Flashback Friday to this delicious cream cheese pancakes recipe 😋 Check it out below! Ingredients: 4 ounces cream cheese 4 eggs You can add vanilla or cinnamon for variety Instructions: 1. Put eggs and cream cheese in a blender. If you’re adding additional flavors, add them now. Blend until smooth. (This takes just a few moments.) Let the batter rest a moment while the griddle heats. Butter the hot skillet or griddle and start by pouring just a 1/8 cup (or two tablespoons) of the mixture onto the hot surface. Remember that it will spread out a lot; these are very thin pancakes. 2. Cook them for just a couple minutes on the first side, just until golden, and then carefully flip and cook another minute or so on the other. Once you have a feel for the way these cook, proceed to make them as big or small as you like…sprinkle, drizzle, or dust with the topping of your choice.
