🎶oh what a night🎶 Date night = a trip to the @sherman_theater to see @thedrewlynch on his #ShortKingComedyTour . INCREDIBLE. I've loved this guy since he was on AGT. and like the guy in the back of the crowd yelled- I voted every time! I laughed so hard tonight. and God, did I need it. I've been going through it and the joy that I felt tonight was unmatched. I didn't stop laughing. I snort laughed. I had giggle fits so hard I was silent laughing. I don't know that I ever stopped. He captured Stroudsburg real good, too. 🤣 If you get quiet enough, you'll hear someone kicking a beer can, and you'll know you're in Pennsylvania. it was hysterical. ok. so I did stop laughing. We went to the meet and greet, and I was able to tell Drew how his sharing his stutter with all of us, the world, making jokes, made me feel good about what was going on with me. I wasn't a fan of talking to my friends and family because of my stutter. I know, I know. you love me. blah. whatever. it was hard for me to be comfortable in my own skin when I couldn't formulate my thoughts and they'd just come out mixed up. or take a while to say. Drew auditioned for AGT after I had the adrenal crisis that turned my life into utter chaos. His comedy made things better for me. He made it easier for me to be me. I had an easier time making light of my situation. I listened to his story. I watched (what I could cause y'all know my sight disappeared for a bit that year) him light up the stage and be himself. he was living his life, going through it, and just having fun. he made me feel like I was gonna be ok. and I was. I am. i still stutter. he doesn't. which is awesome. it's a work in progress. tonight I was able to tell him how much he meant to me. my goal was not to cry, and that was a fail. but, I got to tell him. and it was great. and then obvs ended the night at @goombasofny because it's not a night on main without the best pie! thank you #ShermanTheater for having him and thank you Drew for being you!!! we also got to see some of Isaac Abrams act- check him out. he's funny. #shermantheater #stroudsburgPA #datenight #DrewLynch #IsaacAbrams #GoombasPizza #ESU #wherewarriorsbelong #ΣΣΣ

Bonnie and I had an amazing time watching @thedrewlynch comedy show. We arrived only about 15. Minutes early to the show (thanks to my mom). There weren’t really any empty tables left (especially near the stage) but thankfully a staff member at the venue saw us and helped us get an empty table near the stage, he asked the best area for us to sit to keep Bonnie comfortable. After the show (which was amazing!!!!) we got to meet Drew lynch and it was hands down one of the best experiences I have every had. (I think it was because he used to have a service dog, Stella). I got in line to get merch and meet him, and when u was paying for my stuff, his wife started asking questions and she asked what my name was. When she said my name was cool I thought she was talking about Bonnie because when people say something positive about a name I assume they’re talking about Bonnie. She confirmed that she was asking about me. Normally people always ask about Bonnie first, but that’s not what happened and it was really cool. (She said Bonnie had the same demeanor as Stella). When it got to meeting Drew, he didn’t talk to Bonnie and talked straight to me and ignored her presence (people never do that and it was awesome!!!) he didn’t even ask to pet her!!!!! He was super nice (he even threatened to beat my dad up 😭😭😭 (as a joke)). It was amazing meeting him and I would love to see one of his shows again/meet him again. As I reflected on 2023, I had a hard time seeing the blessings beyond the challenges this year has brought. Then I went through our pictures. Seeing and meeting Drew Lynch, going to the art museum and seeing Callie dressed up for Senior Prom. Watching Schyler shine on stage in dances she choreographed. Celebrating a miracle I don't feel like I deserve after a health scare. Seeing Jaclyn graduate. Watching Callie graduate in the top 10% of her class. Watching Schyler spread her wings and seeing her in scrubs for the first time as she began shadowing in vet clinics. Trying to break a World Record in a Jeep Parade. Friday Night Smackdown, more raccoons, the Dinner Detective, and a very special walk to class on first day of college for my baby. The beginning of Schyler's junior year at MSU and seeing my favorite NFL team play. Meeting JR Ward. Callie and JD going to Homecoming. Finally seeing my favorite wrestler at AEW (I've waited 20+ years). Christmas shenanigans and realizing no matter how old my girls are they will always be my babies. I would put this on par with Mercy Christmas (which is funny cause that popped up the second I pulled up the IMDB for this). A very unique twist on who’s the killer that you won’t expect. Even the poster throws you off. And I still didn’t give anything away in saying that either!
