ANACONDAS: THE HUNT FOR THE BLOOD ORCHID (2004): na selva de Bornéu, um grupo de cientistas embarca em uma expedição para encontrar uma rara orquídea vermelha que floresce apenas a cada sete anos. Acreditando que a flor possui propriedades rejuvenescedoras, eles arriscam suas vidas para alcançá-la. No entanto, logo descobrem que predadores mortais, anacondas gigantes em plena época de acasalamento, protegem a orquídea, prontas para atacar qualquer um que se aproxime. A luta pela sobrevivência se intensifica enquanto os cientistas enfrentam os perigos da selva e a fúria implacável das anacondas. Bom... se a ideia para o primeiro filme foi interessante, a desta sequência, que não se assume como sequência, é muito fundo do poço. Sendo bem sucinto, o roteiro é uma série de clichês colados em sequência, dentre eles: os vilões corporativos, os heróis ambientalistas, o herói principal que começa relutante, mas que tem atitude de mal, mas na verdade é bonzinho, o coadjuvante cômico que só faz piadas genéricas e sem parar (irritante até), e o animalzinho de estimação que consegue ser mais humano que os humanos do filme. Além de não ser um filme que diverte, não entretém, sendo, também, desnecessário.
