📚 23 in 23 📚 For those of you who haven’t been following along, over the last two years I’ve been doing yearly challenges. Last year was #finishingtheseries2022 which went really well! This year I wanted to hit up the unread books on my shelves, so I started two challenges - the #clearyourshelfchallenge and the #backlistbooks23 challenge! A few days late, but here’s my #decemberwrapup - it was a pretty fantastic reading month. In terms of my #finishingtheseries2022 challenge for the year, I ended strong and overall I finished 24 series that I had started prior to this year! I also ended the year with 100 books read, definitely my highest since I started keeping track in 2009! So I’ve never really been one to read multiple books at once, but that’s changed over the last few months as I’ve more fully embraced audiobooks and found the time to work them into my schedule. I’ve also been visiting the library more frequently and have found myself reading one actual book and one on kindle. Not as hard to juggle as I originally thought! Just finished The Match by Harlan Coben. I gave this one ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ on Goodreads and Storygraph. What was your favorite read this month? The Evolution of Mara Dyer - reading this series at the pleading of my bestie @luckycharmedlovesbooks - and I am not disappointed! Book 3 up on deck for June! Malibu Rising - My second TJR read - but definitely not my last! Not my usual genre but I loved it! A Sh*tload of Crazy Powers - I love this series about a girl who can move things with her mind! Great for a good laugh! Cover Story - #bookstagrammademedoit - @luckycharmedlovesbooks and @stacks_and_snacks in particular! What a crazy ride - definitely read if you are into the Anna Delvey case. The Latecomer - I can’t say enough about this book. I adore Korelitz’s writing so much. Unmasked - This one was just okay for me, even though I am a true crime aficionado. I seem to be in the minority bc I have seen rave reviews everywhere! Happy-Go-Lucky - David Sedaris is one of my all-time favorite humor memoirists. It’s publication day! Congrats to Kiersten Modglin for another outstanding book! 📖 This book was such a great compliment to The Arrangement (book 1 of the series). I liked how it felt like it picked up right where we left off in the last book. The quick pace and writing style of the book is everything. Her nickname should be The Queen of Twists because this story has a bunch of great ones in it.
