You can just feel the love 🤎 Can you remember how tiny they were in hospital? I certainly can't. Giving birth is such a huge toll on the body and mind that those first few days are surreal, lack of sleep, adrenaline, visitors, it all feels like a whirlwind. If you can, try to take lots of photos and videos of those first few hours. It is so lovely to look back on them and see how much they have changed. Ask your midwife to snap some pics of you all together too! Baby’s first “bath”. I don’t typically shoot births due to weddings, but when Kellye reached out to me a couple weeks before her due date, after her original photographer fell through anddd It just so happened to be off season, I jumped at the opportunity. This was my second time shooting a birth, and it was just as incredible as I remembered. I wish I could take on more of these sessions, but with the unpredictability of timing & the amount of weddings I book, it just isn’t feasible. Though that won’t stop me from jumping at every chance to shoot them when the timing works out.
