I posted a look at the TWA Hotel at JFK Airport a couple months ago, but finally had the opportunity to stay here. 🛫 This landmark first opened as TWA’s terminal in 1962. Operations ceased in 2001. Soon it'll be 3 years since i started working at my current work place and lately i've been reminiscing about my beginnings there....and how i used to make posts about my first days there, but as if im writing to you, as if you're my personal diary and you could actually read the posts or hear my thoughts...imaginary.... remember how i used to write to you about my first impressions when it came to all the people i came in contact with, the ones who were actually my colleagues? Or how i would share to you, in long captions, about all the good and bad things that happened throughout "a day spent at my new work place"? I did all that because you're my comfort, my safe space and i always feel like sharing everything with you in one way or another... But it didn't last long.... soon....actually way sooner that i would have ever expected.... it got progressively worse and worse to the point i had no energy to even basically exist, so i eventually stopped writing to you completely. My life basically went into a downward spiral... i felt progerssively more and more overwhelmed and here i am, 3 years later, at my lowest point ever, career-wise. (In other cases, too, but that's another story...) I lost any bit of creativity i ever had still left in me.... and i hate myself thinking back at all those times when i used to make creative posts dedicated to you and the other members.....i miss the times i used to actually write creative, "poetic", posts for you.....now i can't do that anymore - and i can't force it either - and it breaks my heart, because you're so deserving of it....it was "my thing"....my pleasure, my happiness to write for you, in my own way..... now...im so lost and desperate, i don't even know what to do anymore...and on top of all this, you're not even here, "active" anymore....you're now serving your country...so even getting to enjoy your constant "presence" has been stolen from me.... what can i do now??
