We are still at Typhoon Lagoon and while Meredith was trying our Montinui cone, Michala and I (Desi) decided to try this insta fan favorite cone. 🐓 Unfortunately it was so hot outside that Hei Hei melted before we could get any shots of Michala and I enjoying our sweet treat. So please enjoy this stock photo of us with our review scores. We liked the Hei Hei cone, the raspberry flavor mixed the the pineapple at the bottom is a good combo. But the eyes were kinda of a weird flavor. It’s not chocolate and I kind of wish that it had been. It has a really chalk-y taste to it and we weren’t really a fan. On my trip last week, I was so excited to find this gem back in the parks! The Hei Hei Cone was available in Magic Kingdom back in 2019, and now you can find it at Typhoon Lagoon! This cone consists of pineapple and raspberry Dole Whip, sugar eyes, a sour sugar candy belt, and a blue cone. It is so delicious!!

Who else wishes they were floating around the Lazy River at Typhoon Lagoon instead of being back to work today? 🙋🏻♀️ ➡️Swipe to see our chilled day at Typhoon Lagoon a couple weeks ago. We rode a few rides, had a yummy lunch, sunbathed, enjoyed a Hei Hei Cone and of course swallowed too much water in the wave pool 🌊 It was absolute perfection 👌🏻
Typhoon Lagoon When booking Florida last year, TL was actually closed, so we were thrilled to find on our arrival it had reopened. A personal favourite of all the water parks and super easy to get there via a transfer at Disney Springs. The park was very clean with staff waiting to welcome you in with loud music and dances which set the theme to the day. If you got in early hours you could even see surfers in the wave pool (think @thewave), which made my eldest green with envy! Plenty of beds available. We arrived at magic hours so had one near the front of the wave pool, I would recommend getting in early to ensure a decent spot. We were near the Let’s Go Slurpin’ bar because it’s known for playing Beach Boys music all day which we love! Buy a refillable drinks cup as it was $11.99 and it’s worth every Penny with lots of stations near to the restaurants, and you can reactivate it if you visit again. At the moment they’re 50th anniversary cups so a great souvenir. The lazy river - once your bum is in that tyre you know you’re on a FL holiday. Wave pool was the big hit with plenty of room. We also loved the family raft and Bo loved the water play area. Food was endless here. By far the best park for #vegan options. Don’t forget to get yourself a Hei Hei (from Moana) dole whip ice-cream from the Snack Shack. The Arctic Dot ice-cream balls were a big hit too as were the warm doughnuts and coffee for a naughty breakfast. Also the cocktails from Let’s Go Slurpin’ were 👌🏻 A great day out and if you are staying at a Disney resort definitely come here, and I recommend breaking up the busy theme park days with a water park/pool day. We did one every 4th day and boy was it needed to give the feet a rest!

Day 11… Typhoon Lagoon & Celebration town tavern Today was another opportunity for us and the Jones’ to meet up with the Hopkins’ ❤️❤️❤️ Being at the water park meant that all the bigger monsters could have a little independence and go do some slides together which they were more than happy to do and us grown ups spent time with the littlies between the slides, lazy river and the wave pool - something Nali has asked for every day since!! We were a bit gutted blizzard beach wasn’t open as that’s our fave but a great day was still had - lots of giggles, memory making and unfortunately a touch of sunburn too 🤦♀️ I would highly recommend the hei hei Ice cream if visiting the park - so refreshing and incredibly cool to look at… someone had dropped one near the food outlet which was just a puddle of melted ice cream with eyes which the kids found highly amusing 👀 As the Hopkins were only in Florida another day or 2 we agreed to spend the evening together with a yummy meal at the celebration town tavern - we were desperate to visit again after our little taster on the weekend… there was a slight issue with James’ meal but management went above and beyond to ensure we were happy and the food itself as expected was fantastic and the white peach sangria was lush 🤤 Was sad to say goodbye to our friends as I know the next time we will see them will be back in not so sunny Blighty and I am just not ready to think about the fact that we have to come home 😔 #fridayfeeling #typhoonlagoon #waterpark #wavepool #friendswhodisneytogetherstaytogether #celebration #homecookedfood #memorymaking #disney #disneyholiday #sangria #heiheicone #moana
