PIERWSZY DZIEŃ LATA☀️ na Islandii obchodzimy już dziś! 25 kwietnia. Słońce świeci, „nikt” nie pracuje. Zapewne po południu Islandczycy zaczną grillować, a większość dziś rozpocznie sezon campingowy. W końcu mamy 10 stopni! To prawie jak upał! 🐴🐴🐴 A na zdjęciach koniki! Spotkałyśmy je ostatnio jadąc na camping. Wszystkie przyszły się przywitać i pięknie pozowały do zdjęć. Wiedzieliście że koń islandzki jest rasą wyjątkową? Rzadko chorują i długo żyją (zresztą tak jak mieszkańcy tego kraju), są też troszkę krępe. Podczas gdy konie dookoła świata znają tylko 3 rodzaje chodu, te islandzkie znają ich aż 5! Warunki w jakich mieszkają i tereny, po których się poruszają, utrwaliły w nich - te zapomniane na całym świecie - style chodu. Vestmannaeyjar Storytime 🇮🇸 There was a volcanic eruption in 1963 that wiped out half the island, completely submerging the homes of many inhabitants in lava. Luckily, the early signs of the eruption were noticed by some locals, and the island was swiftly evacuated. However, when it came time to return many months later after the ground had cooled down enough, many came back to find their houses were gone. Walking around the island, you will see lots of crosses scattered around. These are essentially gravesites for homes. This house, ironically number 13, was lucky.
