Ένα πρόγραμμα χρήσιμο για όλους όσους εργάζονται στη μάχη κατά των διακρίσεων, για μία κοινωνία, πραγματικά, ανοιχτή και συμπεριληπτική. Το ποδόσφαιρο είναι ένα εξαιρετικό εργαλείο ένταξης και αποδοχής. Είναι μια στέρεη γέφυρα επικοινωνίας και αλληλεπίδρασης με την κοινωνία υποδοχής. Και σήμερα, πιο πολύ από ποτέ, έχουμε περισσότερο ανάγκη να φτιάχνουμε γέφυρες που φέρνουν πιο κοντά ανθρώπους, παρά τείχη που αποξενώνουν και αποκτηνώνουν. Oggi è la Giornata Internazionale dei diritti delle persone con disabilità. 👩🦯 L’inclusione comincia con gli aiuti e i supporti necessari, ma secondo una ricerca condotta dalla Fondazione Emanuela Zancan e CBM Italia, non riusciamo ancora fornire una rete di supporto adeguata alle famiglie delle persone disabili e alle persone disabili stesse. Di fatto, il 90% delle famiglie non chiede solo aiuti economici, ma servizi centrati sulla persona disabile e la sua famiglia. Le richieste principali riguardano assistenza sociosanitaria (39%), sociale (37%), mobilità (25%) e opportunità ricreative (23%). ⚠️ Perché questi dati sono così importanti? Un fattore centrale è il rapporto tra disabilità e povertà. La ricerca si intitola infatti “Disabilità e povertà nelle famiglie italiane” ed è tra le prime ricerche in Italia che si concentra su questo tema. Il campione di intervistati si focalizza su 272 persone che vivono in famiglia, residenti in tutta Italia, di età compresa tra 14 e 55 anni. Nel 90% dei casi, le famiglie riconoscono difficoltà economiche e sociali. ➡️ 1 su 6 non riceve supporto istituzionale ➡️ 1 su 4 manca di una rete informale ➡️ Oltre il 70% non ha una rete amicale di supporto ➡️ Il 55% non partecipa ad associazioni di supporto alla disabilità, soprattutto tra coloro con basso livello educativo. Dove parte perciò la cultura dell’inclusione? 🌏 Dalla consapevolezza di dover dare a ogni individuo e ad ogni nucleo famigliare, gli stessi identici mezzi per vivere. We are set to deliver a disability training to over 30 staff of LIFE SAVER MINISTRIES (LSM). During our meeting earlier today, they cited how their work in remote areas of Entebbe has opened their eyes towards the hidden children with different disabilities in homes where they least expect. “many children are hidden, it’s until you enter a house to bring the good news of Salavation that you will hear someone throwing a tantrum while screaming or shouting because they are locked inside a dark room or in an outside shack/kitchen store” the Project Manager said We are so excited with this upcoming partnership as we shall be able to bring our expertise in rehabilitation, vocational skilling, referrals and therapy to the LSM projects #nomorehiddenchildren #reachingmore #communityoutreach #inclusion4all #embraceability
