Been sharing how I’ve been more intentional to pray specific scripture over my babies recently. Putting their sweet names in blanks and pleading with Jesus for their salvation, to have a deep love for His word, and a desire to promote His kingdom. As their mama, I want to protect them from every single hardship and valley. Shield them from pain; both physical and emotional- all of it. But as I pray these precious verses over them I feel Jesus tenderly loosening my grip over Hutch and Indie. “Are they mine, Klaire? Or are they yours?” Ouch. So, I release my white knuckles again and surrender them to the One who created them and knit them together. I remind my heart what my head knows- that He loves them MORE and His plans exceed any I might have for these babies. Those plans might not always be *safe* in the worldly understanding of the word. But if my babies know Jesus- and live to make Him known, they are truly the safest and most loved of all. Forever and ever. Jesus, help me when I don’t believe. And thank you for your grace to continually release my grip and trust you again. Here are two scripture prayers to pray over your child ❤️ “May ______ never be ashamed of the gospel, but recognize that it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes.“ Romans 1:16 “Let ______ preach the word and be prepared, whether the time is favorable or not.
