I can’t speak for everyone but last week was more than rough. Helping my son get through regents, helping my hubby with issues and preparing for my parent’s visit and then work on top of little to no sleep. Spending time with God was hard last week because it was so busy and my weekly fruit showed it. My attitude was terrible , my energy was at an all time low and my frustration was growing. If I’m being honest I’m still upset about a certain events that went down. Today’s devotional reminded me that I do have gifts to help me and the gifts help me to grow. (Galatians 5:22-23 ) it is so easy for the devil to send warfare when you are busy and not spending real time with him . Self control was what I was lacking so much mostly over my raw emotions. I felt like everything and everyone was attacking me. What was really going on was the devil was taking advantage of my emotional state and lack of time. Thank God that he loves me and showed me that He has given me these gift to make it through all the junk the devil gave me relentlessly . After I spent time with Jesus I started to immediately feel loved and joyful . I felt his peace running over every aspect on my body causing me to relax then everything else fell into place. So if you went through a rough week or you will this week remember that we have a God who gave us the fruit of the spirit to get through every moment of it. And remember that the devil can only do as much as we allow him to. It’s a difficult thing to do, but it will bring so much peace! But, be prepared to lose some other people that you don’t necessarily want to. If you’ve never detached from a toxic person, you need to understand that there are others connected to them who are going to stay connected to them, and that’s ok, it’s their choice. But, they will stop associating with you because that toxic person has some really strong vibes and usually a strong leader. You might be able to translate “leader” there to “bully” That person isn’t going to allow everyone to ditch them, so they will spin whatever happened between you and them to be all your fault!
