[India with Tara] . 12. 바일라쿠페의 개들의 하울링이나 새소리같은 자연 알람은 없으나 이곳 티루반라말라이에서도 새벽 3시 반이면 눈을 뜬다. 바일라쿠페에 비해 더위가 아주 크게 느껴진다. 물을 끓여 마실 엄두가 나지 않는다. 일단 요가매트를 펼 자리를 찾았다. 아쉬람에서 배정해준 숙소는 8명이 사용하는 백패커 하우스다. 중세시대 때 사용했던 열쇠가 철컥 소리를 내며 나무 문을 열었다. 문을 열자마자 침대 3개가 보인다. 침대3개 놓은 홀을 지나 방으로 들어서니 침대 2개가 더 있다. 일행과 2층 독채를 모두 사용하게 되었다. 며칠 함께 지낸 사람들과 있어 마음이 놓인다. 나는 2층에 머물기로 했다. 무거운 짐가방을 올리며 뭘 이리 챙겨온건가… 참.. 그래도 방앞 계단 중간에 요가먀트 펼 만큼 공간이 보인다. 침실이 아닌 공간에 매트를 마음 편히 펼수 있게 되었다. 새벽마다 풀썩대는 것이 룸메이트에게 미안했는데, 다행이다. 같은 위도상이어도 바일라쿠페는 고도가 높아, 아침 공기가 쌀쌀했다. 요가하고 나면 몸이 뎁혀지겠다 생각하니 수련하는게 어렵지 않았다. 밤새 천정의 팬이 돌아가며 바람을 일으키는데도 티루반다말라이의 아침은 후덥지근이다. 덕분에 수련하고 나서 찬물에 샤워해도 나쁘지않겠다 싶어 더운 공기를 느끼며 수련을 시작한다. 수리야나마스카라 한번에 땀이 흐른다. 천천히 호흡에 시선에 몸의 정렬을 맞춘다. 찬물로 샤워를 하고 나와도 더위가 가시질 않는다. 오늘도 무척 덥겠구나.. 계획한 시간보다 조금 더 일찍 숙소를 나서 아쉬람으로 출발한다. 어둑한 새벽길. 지난밤의 번잡함은 모두 사라지고, 무질서의 잔해들이 가득한 새벽길을 걸어간다. 폐허의 정적이 느껴진다. 골목끝으로 다다르자마자 오토바이 경적에 어깨가 들썩일만큼 정적은 사라졌다. 도로에서 멀리 떨어져 걷는데 오토바이 한대가 멈춰서, 검은 피부의 하얀 눈동자가 나를 바라본다. 요가하러 가느냐는 질문이 어찌나 무섭게 들리던지.. 겁먹지 않은척 고개를 쳐들고 걷는다. 뒤이어 좋은 하루 보내라는 인사를 남기고 오토바이는 다시 멀어졌다. 순간, 내가 무엇에 마음을 두었나.. 굳모닝 인사를 전한 그에게 보낸 무표정이 무안하다. 내가 느꼈을 두려움을 공감해주길 바라며 그의 인사라 선의 였다면 이해해주길 바란다. 그의 하루가 행복하길 바란다. 새벽 5시 50분. 사마디홀은 이미 수행자들로 반정도 채워져 잇었다. 자리를 잡고 앉아 눈을 감았다. 천정에 매달린 대형팬의 바람이 얼굴에 닿는다. 돌바닥에 깐 무릎담요가 너무나 고맙게 느껴진다. 새벽 명상을 할때마다 느꼈던 한국에서의 겨울의 감촉과 정반대의 여름의 공기를 인지하며, ‘지금 여기에 있다’는 것을 실감한다. 손목의 다끔함이 느껴져 눈을 떴다. 검은 모기 한마리에 소스라치게 놀란다. 명상 제대로 해보겠다 마음을 정한지 몇시간도 되지 않아 살생을 했다. 반사행동은 막을길이 없다… 알아차림이 이렇게 힘들구나… 다시 눈을 감고 감각에 주의기울이며, 생각에 스토리를 만들지 않겠다고 의도세운다. 생각이 올라오고, 생각이 만들어내는 불쾌함이 몸에 어떻게 전해지는지 알아차린다. 아침 찬팅이 시작되었다. 고요한 홀에 찬팅이 울려퍼진다. 소리에 소리가 더해지며 어린이 사제들의 낭랑한 소리까지 겹쳐 흐른다. 제단 위에 열두명의 사제들이 베다 경전을 읇는다. 경건한 아침이 시작되었다. 라마나스라맘 아쉬람에는 몇가지 규칙이 있다. 사진 및 동영상 촬영 금지. 휴대폰 사용 금지 맨발로 다닐 것. 침묵을 지킬것. 룰에 적혀있지는 않으나, 추가 하자면 눕지 말 것. 그야말로 수련을 위한 모든 조건이 갖추어진 곳이다. 수련을 하지 않을래야, 하지 않을 수가 없다고 말하는 어느 방문객의 말이 이해가 간다. 침묵은 그 자체로 배움을 준다. 언어를 통해 제한되고 왜곡 되는 의미들이 침묵속에서는 그대로 머물고, 또한 전해질 수 있는 것 같다. 스리 바가반 라마나 마하리쉬. 큰 스승의 깨달음에 머리를 숙이며 아침 수련을 마쳤다. #침묵 #keepthesilence

Я тут за останні декілька місяців освоїла новий навик - "апатія до людей". Мені навіть смішно, адже, здається, люди самі провокують ненависть до себе. Можливо це така нова розвага 🙄 Дивно, чому лише в 19 я зрозуміла, що нікому нічим не зобов'язана. Але я хоча б це усвідомила, а деякі і далі намагаються вилизати іншим ж*опу... Мені навіть подобається відверто говорити про свої негативні емоції. Дістало постійно всюди бачити щасливі усміхнені рожі. Невже всі справді вірять, що цим людям завжди так весело. Мені завжди казали, що не потрібно псувати іншим настрій і тд, але чому когось з радісними новинами я маю вислухати, а мене з поганими ніхто і чути не хоче... Я не збираюся влаштовувати вдома театр одного актора і кричати в подушку, я теж хочу бути почутою. І я впевнена, що не одна така. Просто всі звикли мовчати. Але пост трішки не про це. Отже, апатія. Так звідки ж вона? У мене є лише 3 слова, які дадуть відповідь на це питання : "корисливість", "наглість", "меркантильність"... Я могла б називати ще, але навіщо? Думаю ці три слова кажуть все самі за себе. Чесно, навіть не можу описати словами, як це фігово, коли всі користуються тобою, а ти, знаючи це, нічого не можеш зробити. Було і багато осуджень зі сторони: "Чому дозволяєш так із собою поводитись?", "Чому нічого не робиш"... Але мене зупиняло завжди тільки одне - невміння казати слово" ні! ". Смішно ж, правда. Ніби нічого складного, але чомусь так важко. Я не знаю чому все життя намагаюся комусь вгодити. І я терплю, довго терплю...
