This aircraft shot down over 80 enemy planes for the German Empire during the course of WW1 and is one of the most recognized aircraft in history. Yesterday I made this very famous Fokker Dr.I/Fokker Triplane! I have actually been wanting to build this for quite some time now but didn’t manage to do it until now. I actually love airplanes and I have been flying RC planes for quite a long time. The reasons I haven’t built so many airplanes in Lego though is first of all because it’s not my most preferred things to build, and secondly because I have got it into my head that airplane MOCs aren’t the most popular MOCs in the Lego community. I don’t know why I think that and it’s probably not true so please comment if you like to see more airplane MOCs. The Albatros D.V was a fighter aircraft used by the Luftstreitkräfte (Imperial German Air Service) during World War I. The D.V was the final development of the Albatros D.I family, and the last Albatros fighter to see operational service. .. The Albatros D. V though not the most famous plane piloted by Baron Manfred von Richthofen, famously known as the Red Baron, was the one in which he sustained his most serious injuries in WW I prior to being shot down to his death a year later.
