I took this photo from my balcony this morning, contemplating how to better show up for my community. I realised that I have so much value to offer, but the greatest gift I have is in authenticity. I need to be #authentic I realised that I’m a therapist immersed in a world of therapists who are very different from me. They’re comfortable - entitled, almost - to be telling people what they need to think, feel and act better. That’s not me. I don’t play by the rules, I don’t fit the traditional stereotype of a therapist, and I would never want my audience to be someone they are not. I’m science-oriented, I’m spiritual, and I really enjoy breaking the rules. I’m passionate about helping people BREAK rules and conditioning, to break free of the boxes they’ve been told they must fit neatly into in order to be successful, or valid, or loved. My page is going to share my voice proudly, and I’m going to speak out as and for everyone who is longing to be their most authentic selves, but weren’t allowed to, or don’t know how. So from this point forward, this will be a space where I (Human Design language incoming:) share what I find beautiful (my external vision cognition), where my voice will be expressed authentically and unapologetically (my 8-1 channel, Aries moon), and where I will lead by example (6th line) based on my own lived experience (3rd line) and personalised, moment-to-moment insight and guidance (projector, 10-57 channel). So here I am. I’m a student, yes, but I also know more than 90% or therapists out there (based on the opinion of other professional veteran therapists). I’m person-centered and passionate, unapologetically spiritual yet thoroughly grounded. I hope to see you on here, breaking chains and claiming your best life, because you know what? Hello, world!! It’s been a lil while since I’ve written a wee post. Life’s so different now and I’ve gotta lotta things to juggle. Having that spacious Bayari Time often feels elusive. It was from that space that my meandering musings, photos and creations arose 🌹🙏🌹 I’m noticing the desire for some more me time in amongst the wondrous hustle & bustle of community life AND being in a beautiful relationship now, too. A blessing and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Yet I do need to carve out time just to be. A night of noodle soup and feet up. Morning stillness and Oracle cards extravaganza. That kinda thing. Lil luxuries 🙏🌹🙏 The other day someone in the community reminded me I am an artist. It really struck me and spoke to my soul - I’d totally forgotten in amongst almost the things. Today I felt the impulse to take a few photos again…first of all at sis’s with the pack - such nourishment all round. Being together, hanging out. Laughing, listening, appreciating each other. scrambling the freshest, finest eggs from the chooks on the land. Toasting my soda bread. These simple things give me immense pleasure 🙏🌹🙏 Then again today, lazing on the grounds after lunch…cloud-gazing. Admiring all the flowers coming into bloom. Selfies for the first time in ages 😛 As with all big changes in life I’m changing, too…I’m living more in the real and there’s more Yang. More action. Which means when I do get a breather I rest and tend to my hermit. Later this afternoon myself and my beloved listened to Pam Gregory. He whilst tidying up. Me whilst resting under my lovely velvety blanket. Boy, the energy was strong. I was taken out and had the most delicious nap 🙏🌹🙏 I couldn’t recall a thing… but looked in the mirror and received the message about really needing to be still to receive the light codes and prepare for BIG change. There is so much shifting now it feels important to take the time to be in the yin space. To gaze, to dream. To dwell there a while…

Just a selection of images from Ibiza. So much rich inspiration. I have more to share soon. That first image is the perfect composition for me. The colours the reapeating shapes, the hard sharp lines contrasted by the beautiful bougainvillea, meeting up with wires connected to balcony. I want to use these images in new work... but first I need to finish old. My Dust series which was inspired by my trip to Aldeburgh late summer last year, desperately needs attention - next week!! It's 7 pieces, my largest series yet. I'll share some pics next week and show the progress so far. Last night's demo went really well and I enjoyed it so much. Fashion Friday tip— I wore this out for a ladies dinner @roccostacos which is a relaxed and colorful environment. I wanted to feel relaxed and comfortable, but put together in an understated way. So I started with the main pieces (top and bottom) and layered from there. I wanted to wear these bird earrings to make the outfit more playful along with the scarf, which both break up the strong dark base colors. So I brought in light sandals and purse to balance it at the end. Hope this helps! Have fun with your clothes.. I pulled this from items I’ve had, some for years. The fun part is creating something new every day that feels right. After a much need break from full time portrait photography I found my love of photography and myself once again with the skilled practice of ICM photography. A mindful almost meditative practice for me. I long now for the time alone with my maker, as I take in the beauty of what surrounds me.
