ভালবাসা চার অক্ষরের শব্দ, এই শব্দ নিয়ে কতো কবিতা কতো গান , কতো বন্দনা কতো ছবি । আমরা কি এই শব্দটির মাহাত্ত্ব বুঝি। ভালোবাসা শব্দটির উৎপত্তি হয়তো নারী পুরুষের ভালোবাসা থেকেই কিন্তু আমার মতে নারীর প্রতি পুরুষের যে ভালোবাসা অথবা প্রেম এটা আসলে মোহ । এটা শারীরবৃত্তীয় ভালোবাসার প্রাথমিক রূপ। আমি এটাকে ভালবাসা না বলে অনেকটা স্বার্থ রক্ষার কৌশল মনে করি। ভালবাসা শব্দ ব্যবহার করে বিয়ে নামক রচনা লেখার চেষ্টা মাত্র । সত্যিকার ভালবাসাতে কোথাও কোন স্বার্থ জড়িত থাকার কথা নয়। ভালোবাসা মানে কোন কিছু পাওয়া নয় বরং কিছু দেয়া। স্বার্থান্ধ সমাজব্যবস্থা আমাদের সব সময় ভুল শিক্ষা দিয়েছে তাই আমরা নিজেদের স্বার্থে সব করি। এটা খুঁজতে শুরু করেছিলাম আমার বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় জীবনের শুরুতেই। কিন্তু তখন সবাই আমার কথা শুনে হাসতো। তাদের কাছে এই ভাবে চিন্তা করাটা অনেকটা আধ্যাতিক।কাউকে ভালবেসে তা পাওয়ার জন্য কখনো কোন কৌশল অবলম্বন করিনি শুধু চেষ্টা করেছি তাকে সত্যিকার ভালোবাসার। সত্যিকার ভালবাসা বোঝার ক্ষমতা আসলে সবার নেই। আপনি খুব অসুবিধায় আছেন, থাকার জায়গা নেই । তাই মন খারাপ কোথায় যাবেন ছেলেমেয়ে নিয়ে । আপনার স্বামী শাশুড়ি আপনাকে ঘর থেকে বের করে দিয়েছে । সব শুনে আপনার বান্ধবী বলল "কোন চিন্তা করো না আমার বাড়ি আছে না । চলে আসো আমার বাড়িতে । যদিও আমার এই বাড়িটা খুব ছোট কিন্তু তুমি তোমার ছেলেকে নিয়ে থাকতে পারবে। " নিরাশ্রয় আপনি পেলেন একটা আশ্রয়। এটা হচ্ছে সত্যিকার ভালবাসা। হঠাৎ স্বাতী তার স্বামীর মৃত্যুতে একান্ত একা হয়ে পড়েছেন। নাওয়া খাওয়া ছেড়ে দিয়েছেন । পাশের বাড়ির আন্টি তখন মাথায় হাত বুলিয়ে দিতে দিতে বললেন "কোন চিন্তা করো না আমরা তো আছি । " তারপর দেখলেন প্রতিদিন ওই আন্টি স্বাতীর জন্য খাবার নিয়ে আসেন আর খাওয়া শেষ না হওয়া পর্যন্ত তার পাশে বসে থাকেন যাতে সে ভালো ভাবে খায়। এটাই সত্যিকার ভালোবাসা । এদের জন্য পৃথিবী এতো সুন্দর । আপনার দূরদিনে যারা আপনার পাশে থাকে তারা হলো সত্যিকার মানুষ। তাদের জন্য আপনি আজও ভাল আছেন ।আপনার যখন সুসময় সবাই পাশে থাকবে কারন এরা সুবিধাবাদী। এই সব মানুষের সান্নিধ্যে থাকার চেয়ে একা থাকাই উত্তম। My terracotta sculpture transfer into metal ( Aluminum) Tittle- Two figures #art #artopportunities #artgallery #artcollector #artwork #zeeart #mawawpg

#bluelinearts #mawawpg গতকাল চ্যানেল আই তে আবার একটা নিউজ দেখলাম চৌদ্দ বছরের এক কিশোরী প্রতিবেশী একজন পুরুষের লালসার শিকার ।সব ধরনের প্রমাণ তার হাতে থাকা সত্বেও বিচার না পেয়ে মা সহ সেই কিশোরী ঢাকায় এসেছেন বিচারের আশায় । দ্বারে দ্বারে ঘুরছেন । আমি খুবই লজ্জিত এই সমাজে মেয়ে হয়ে জন্মেছি বলে। আমরা পুরুষজাতি মসজিদে গিয়ে ধর্মচর্চা করি আর নারীকে পর্দা করতে বলি । এইদেশে নারীরা সালোয়ার কামিজ আর ওড়না পেঁচিয়ে , নিজেকে হিজাবে জড়িয়ে কি পুরুষ জাতির কামনা বাসনা থেকে রক্ষা করতে পেরেছে ? এই দায় কার? আমি নারী হয়ে জন্মেছি তাই অপরাধ আমার? নাকি যে পুরুষ এত আবরণে ঢাকা সত্যেও নারীকে ধর্ষণ করে তার? তারমানে আজকে নারীরা নিজেকে যেখানে যেভাবে লুকিয়ে রাখুক না কেন ধর্ষণ থেকে কোন ভাবে রক্ষা করতে পারবে না ।ঘরে কিংবা বাইরে সব সময় ধর্ষিত হচ্ছে নারী । এর দায় পুরুষ শাসিত সমাজে পুরুষের মানসিকতার। আমি নারী হয়ে জন্মেছি তাই অপরাধ আমার নয় । অপরাধ পুরুষের । আমি কেন লজ্জিত হবো? লজ্জিত হবে পুরুষ জাতি। তাহলে ইউরোপ আমেরিকায় মেয়েরা যেভাবে সল্প পোশাকে সব জায়গায় বের হয়ে কাজ করছে আপনারা কি দেখেছেন হে বাংগালী পুরুষ জাতি? যদি দেখে থাকেন তাহলে আপনাদের লজ্জিত হওয়ার কথা । কারণ ওখানে তো এত ধর্ষণ হচ্ছে না । তাহলে আপনারা আপনাদের নিজেদের চেহারা আয়নায় দেখে নেবেন প্লিজ। ধর্ম, পোশাক আপনাদের কিছু শিক্ষা দিতে পারেনি । আর এই করোনা মহামারী আপনাদের শিক্ষা দিতে পারেনি । মৃত্যুর মুখোমুখি দাড়িয়ে নিজেকে শোধরাতে পারেননি আর কখন পারবেন বলুন? এই লজ্জা কার? আমাদের ,নারীর? নাকি আপনাদের পুরুষ জাতির? প্লিজ নিজেদের শোধরানোর চেষ্টা করুন ।আমি শিল্পী হিসেবে পৃথিবীতে অনেক দেশে ঘুরেছি তাই সবদেশের নারীদের পোশাক এবং অবস্থান খুব কাছে থেকে দেখার সুযোগ পেয়েছি । তাই আপনাদের সাথে আমার কিছু ছবি এখানে সেয়ার করছি । আপনারা সবাই দেখে নেবেন । পাশ্চাত্যের নারী ও বাংলাদেশের নারীর পোশাক। তারপরও ধর্ষণ ঠেকানো যাচ্ছে না লজ্জা লজ্জা লজ্জা!!!!! তালা বন্ধ করে কি চুরি অথবা ডাকাতি প্রতিরোধ করা যায় ? প্রয়োজন মানসিকতার পরিবর্তন । আপনাদের বলছি হে বাঙালি পুরুষ জাতি আপনারা লজ্জিত হোন । আর নিজেদের শোধরানোর চেষ্টা করুন । Please read my writing before enjoy my painting. #bluelinearts #mawawpg একটা মেয়ে যে বাড়িতে জন্ম নেয় সেখানে তার বেড়ে উঠা মা বাবার আদরে । একদিন বিয়ে হয়ে অন্য সংসারে চলে আসে । যাকে সবাই বলে স্বামীর সংসার । জন্ম থেকে বেড়ে ওঠা যে পরিচিত জগতে সেটা ছেড়ে চলে আসে এক অপরিচিত অনিশ্চিত পরিবেশে । এক নতুন পরিবেশে তাকে মানিয়ে নিতে পারা একটা মেয়ের জন্য কতটা কষ্টের একটা মেয়ে ছাড়া কেউ বুঝতে পারবে না । বাবার কাছে যে ছিল আদরের রাজকন্যা সে তখন হয়ে যায় শ্বশুরবাড়ির সাধারণ বউমা। সেই পরিবারের সবার সাথে মানিয়ে নেওয়া শ্বশুর বাড়ির সবার মনের মতো হতে না পারলেই সবাই মিলে তখন কতো ভাবে অপদস্থ করে সেটা বাড়ির বউ ছাড়া কে বলতে পারে। কোন কোন মেয়ের অসাধারণ মানিয়ে নেওয়ার দক্ষতা থাকে , কিন্তু অনেকেরই তা থাকে না। আল্লাহ্ সবাইকে একরকম করে সৃষ্টি করে না এটা আমরা সবাই জানি। কিন্তু বাড়ির বউয়ের বেলায় আমরা কি তা মানি। তাইতো দেখি কোন কোন বিয়ে ডিভোর্স পর্যন্ত গড়ায় । বাবার আদরে যে মেয়ে বড় হয়েছিল সেই রাজকন্যা যদি স্বামীর সংসারে এডজাস্ট করতে না পারে আর ফিরে আসে বাবার বাড়িতে তখন তার জন্য আর কোন জায়গা থাকে না সেই বাবার বাড়িতেই । স্বামীর সংসারেও কি সত্যিকার কোন জায়গা আছে? তাইতো মেয়েরা যেভাবে পারে সংসারে মানিয়ে নেওয়ার চেষ্টা করে। মানিয়ে নিতে না পারলে কোথাও যাওয়ার যায়গা কি থাকে? বাবার সম্পদ মেয়েরা কি চাইতে পারে? আর স্বামীর সংসারে স্বামী যদি নিজের ইচ্ছায় কিছু না দেন তাহলে স্ত্রী কি কিছু পায়? তারমানে মা বাবা আর স্বামী এই দুই সংসারের যাতাকলে নারীর জন্য কোন সম্পদের ভাগই থাকেনা। আছে? এই মানিয়ে নিতে নিতে নিজের ভালো লাগা মন্দ লাগা সব ভুলে যায় নারী। যে মেয়েটির জন্য মা খাবার রান্না করে নিয়ে বসে থাকতো সবসময় ,সেই মেয়েটি তখন সবার খাবার রান্না করে নিয়ে বসে থাকে। স্বামী, সন্তান সবার খাবার খাওয়া হলে নিজের খাওয়া দাওয়া শেষ করে । গুছিয়ে রাখে নিজের সংসার ।তার দায়িত্ব শুধু সবার যত্ন আর সবার খেয়াল রাখা। তার খেয়াল রাখার কেউ কি আছে? তবু ও বিনিময়ে কি পায় সে? তাইতো বলি নারী তুমি মানুষ হয়ে উঠো , সমাজের সব বাধা ঠিঙ্গিয়ে হয়ে উঠো সম্পূর্ণ মানুষ। আমি চাই জগতের সব নারী হোক অপরাজিতা । আহা জগতের সকল নারী জিতে যাক জীবনের যুদ্ধে, কারো চোখে কখনও যেন থাকে না গোপন ব্যথার অশ্রু । সমাজের সব বৈষম্য দূর হয়ে যাক। এতটুকুই চাওয়া । খুব কি বেশি কিছু? #bluelinearts #mawawpg পৃথিবীতে মা হচ্ছে একজন মানুষ যিনি তার সব ভালবাসার বিনিময়ে কোন কিছুই আশা করেন না। তিনিই একজন মানুষ তিনি তার সব কাজের বিনিময়ে কোন পারিশ্রমিক আশা করেন না। মায়েরা তার সন্তানের জন্য সারাজীবনের সুখ স্বাচ্ছন্দ্য বিসর্জন দিতে ভালোবাসেন।তাই আমার মনে হয় মা হচ্ছে বেঁচে থাকার অনুপ্রেরণা । আজকে আমি আমাকে এই অবস্থানে আসার পেছনে আমার মা ।আমার সব বেঁচে থাকার অক্সিজেন । মা হচ্ছে এমন একজন যার কাছে আমরা সবচেয়ে নিরাপদে থাকি আর ভাল থাকি। আজকে আমিও একজন মা আমি বুঝি আমার একটি মাত্র সন্তানকে ছাড়া একা কিছু খেলেও ভাল লাগে না। একা কোথাও গেলেও ভাল লাগে না।আমার সব কিছুর বিনিময়ে আমি চাই আমার সন্তান যেন ভাল থাকে, আমার মা ও তাই। আমি তাই এখনো মা একটু অসুস্থ হলে নিজের সব ভুলে মাকে সুস্থ দেখতে চাই আর নিজের ছেলে অসুস্থ হলে তো কথাই নেই । নিজেকে খুব অসহায় মনে হয় । অনেকদিন পর এই কাজটা শেষ করলাম । ঘোরাঘুরি করে হয়তো সময় নষ্ট হয়ে গেছে । আমি আমেরিকার ক্যালিফোর্নিয়াতে এসেছি কয়েকদিন আগে । এখানে বসে এই ছবিটি আঁকলাম । ছবি আঁকাটা অবশ্যই আমার জন্য অনেক বড় আনন্দের জন্য । My recent Gouache color paintings Story of women- 6 Size- 21x 15 inches Gouache color on paper.
My last day at Winnipeg, enjoying learning indigenous quill technique at the workshop. It was wonderful to have worked in a warm loving group, sharing and laughing together. We got fantastic teacher Jennine Krauchi and her assistants. At the lab dr. Maureen Matthews showed us the treasures with much enthusiasm.The workshop was organized by MAWA Winnipeg in cooperation with Manitoba Museum. Now leaving for home I'm loaded with ideas and inspiration. #mawawpg Today, I had my first meeting with my mentor Leesa Streifler, Canadian artist and professor of Visual Art at University of Regina. It is MAWA's Mentorship Program 2022(Winnipeg, MB, Canada). I had wonderful meeting with her. She saw my artworks and really liked my folk art paintings, watercolors and pen sketches. She encouraged me to go forward with my artworks and gave me some books as a gift to read and enhance my art ability. I feel privileged to get her as my mentor. Thanks to MAWA and Leesa Streifler for this wonderful program. Leesa Streifler returned to Winnipeg after four decades away doing graduate work in New York and teaching art at the University of Regina. Throughout, she has maintained an active studio practice. She has worked in painting, drawing, public art, installation, text, performance and digital photography. Her thematic concerns, always conveyed through the female body, explore themes such as agency, self-image, relationships, illness, the aging process, the grotesque, marginalization and interspecies communication.

#bluelinearts #mawawpg দশরথ মাঝি যিনি তার স্ত্রীকে সঠিক সময়ে হাসপাতালে নিতে পারেনি বলে তার স্ত্রী মৃত্যুবরণ করে। হাসপাতাল আর তার গ্রামের মধ্যে অনেক বড় একটা পাহাড় ছিল যেটা সে সঠিক সময়ে পার হতে পারেনি। আর তার স্ত্রীকে হারাতে হয় তাই রাগে ফেটে পড়েন আর তাই সামান্য একটা ছেনি হাতুড়ি দিয়ে বাইশ বছর সময় লাগিয়ে পঞ্চান্ন কিলোমিটারের এক আস্ত পাহাড় কেটে রাস্তা বানিয়ে ফেলেন। জীবনের দশ হাজার বার ফেল করেও চেষ্টা করা বন্ধ করেনা । এরাই হচছে পাগল অথবা উন্মাদ অথবা জেদি। এই কাজ দিয়ে সারা পৃথিবীকে আলোয় আলোয় ভরিয়ে দেয় ইনি হচ্ছেন টমাস আলভা এডিসন । মুম্বাইয়ের তাজ হোটেল আমরা সবাই চিনি তার মালিককে কি আমরা চিনি? তার নাম জমশেদ টাটা। তাকে মুম্বইয়ের এক হোটেলে ঢুকতে দেয়া হয়নি । আর সেই জেদ থেকেই বানিয়ে ফেলেন বিশাল হোটেল তাজ হোটেল। তাই বলি কি মানুষের জেদ থাকাটা অনেক জরুরি । সে জেদ যেন হয় সত্যিকার কাজের জেদ। আমি যখন থেকে ছবি আঁকবো বলে শুরু করেছি তখন থেকে কতো কথা, কতো বদনাম ,কতো ঝামেলা । আমার সংসারে, আমার কর্ম ক্ষেত্রে, আসেপাশে সবাই বলেছে কতো কিছু । কিন্তু আমি ছবি আঁকাটা ছাড়িনি । সংসার না হলে না হোক, চাকরি না থাকলে থাকুক তাতে কি? আমার ভালোবাসা, আমার ভালো থাকার অনুপ্রেরণা ছবি আঁকা আমি ছাড়তে পারবো না । দেখি এই ভালবাসা আমাকে কোথায় নিয়ে যায়। আর প্রার্থনা করি যেন জীবনের এমন একটা জায়গায় পৌঁছাতে পারি যেখানে ছবি আঁকা নিয়ে কোন সমস্যাই থাকবে না । রং আর রেখা থাকবে আমার চারিদিকে বন্ধু হয়ে, ভালবাসা হয়ে। এরা আমার সত্যিকার ভালবাসা। My recent painting Tittle- story of women-2 Gouache color on paper Size- 21x15 inches
