Happy Mother’s Day, mom, we love and miss you so much. I must admit, some years mother’s day is hard for me, but not this year. I am feeling so thankful to have had you as my mother. And although you’ve been gone longer than you were here, your influence and character are still so much a part of me. I am forever grateful for the nearly sixteen years we had together. I had a wonderful childhood and it’s because of you (and dad). I never scanned this photo before because I thought it wasn’t the most flattering, however now I see the beauty in it. I see your beauty inside and out, forever and always. 38/52 #myoldfamilyphotos #ayearofreflectionandoldphotos #oldphotos #familyphotos #oldfamilyphotos #myfamilyphotos #lakewayhistory #lakewayfamilyhistory #familyhistory #myfamilyhistory #savefamilyphotos #mymom #mothersday

Tomorrow would have been my mother’s 85th birthday. Happy heavenly birthday, mom! We love and miss you always. This beautiful, hand-colored, sepia-toned photograph, I had never seen before. It was part of my cousin’s family photos collection. She sent it to my sister about a year and a half ago, and we were both thrilled to see it. We were very familiar with a photo taken at the same time (swipe to see the second photo). The photo we knew and loved is just a small wallet-sized print, but this beauty is an 8x10. It’s wonderful to see my mother’s smile and blue eyes. I will cherish it forever. I am however still partial to the original one I’ve been looking at more than forty years. Jesse Taiaroa Hollobon (son of my Great Great Grandparents) was kill in action in Bapaume, France on 26 August 1918. He was 21 years old. Lest we Forget. In 1918 the Second Battle of Bapaume, 21 August–3 September, was part of the second phase of the Battle of Amiens, the British and Commonwealth attack that was the turning point of the First World War on the Western Front and the beginning of the Allies’ Hundred Days Offensive. Improved armoured support and artillery bombardment weakened once impregnable positions and helped the Allied forces tear holes through trench lines. On 29 August the New Zealand Division, after heavy fighting, occupied Bapaume, having broken through, with the British 5th Infantry Division, the very strong Le Transloy-Loupart trench system and having overcome many other strong points around the town. #myfamily #myfamilyhistory #anzac #anzacday #anzac2024

Happy Passover! The Jewish holiday of Passover begins this evening and runs through April 30. Passover, or "Pesach" in Hebrew, is an eight-day (or seven in Israel) celebration that commemorates the Jewish people's escape from slavery in ancient Egypt. Though the story behind Passover took place thousands of years ago, the annual holiday celebration ensures that the events of the past are not forgotten. Passover involves several traditional events that honor the history of the Jewish people. During the first two nights of Passover, a Seder meal is hosted, which includes ritual blessings and symbolic food and drinks. At the Seder, a book called the “Haggadah” is recited to recount the Jewish people’s exodus from Egypt to the promised land. “The Seder is all about stimulating the curiosity of everybody to ask questions, and thereby keep the tradition alive and cultivate love,” Rabbi Benny Berlin from Bachurei Chemed (BACH Jewish Center) in Long Beach, NY. During Passover, observant Jews forgo leavened grain and bread products. Instead, these foods are replaced with matzah, an unleavened cracker or flatbread. Some households also refrain from working, driving, and using electricity. Copy courtesy of TODAY.com 📸 "Packing shipment of Matzoths [i.e. matzos] for the 77th Division for men of Jewish faith in the A.E.F. for the Passover Holiday, at Warehouse #40, Q.M.C. I should have posted these photos on Easter Sunday as I’m pretty sure they were taken on Easter, in Jacksonville, FL, late 1960s. I love my mother’s & sister’s hats, purses and white gloves. I think my parents may have been getting ready to take a short vacation together because the handmade signs lining the driveway read, Welcome Aboard Sgt. Nana and Sergeant Fugère (clearly I’m from a military family). When Nana came to look after us, we always referred to her as sergeant or sarge. She was tough, there was no nonsense. She was fun, but we couldn’t get away with anything. Nana was a great cook and loved spending time with us kids (I think). I imagine my parents enjoyed their short time away from us crazy kids. 112 years ago today the world lost its largest ship - RMS Titanic - on its maiden voyage from Southampton to New York. We all know the well documented history of the tragedy, but I’d like to take a moment to remember the real people who lost their lives on that fateful night - 15th April 1912 - and in turn those who were affected for the rest of their lives. I have family connections to a handful of people who died on that night, most notably Frank Bendell (cousin of my Great Aunt’s husband), aged 24 and a native of Southampton, who was a member of the engine room crew, a fireman/stoker responsible for feeding coal into one of the many the furnaces which powered the ship’s boilers. His body was never recovered, so the chances are that due to being below-decks he never managed to escape the ship before it sank. There is a memorial to the 244 engineers, firemen, trimmers and greasers who lost their lives that night, located in Liverpool, the ships’ port of registry, and Frank Bendell is also commemorated on one of the plaques in the Titanic Memorial Gardens in Belfast, which features the names of 1512 people who perished in the disaster. RIP Frank…. • #15april1912 #titanic #titanicdisaster #whitestarline #rmstitanic #familyhistory #myfamilyhistory #neverforget #oceanliner #olympicclassliner #shippingdisaster

If you are new to genealogy research, you may or may not have heard the terms “Primary Source” or “Secondary Source”. So, what are these terms and how do they relate to your ancestral research? Primary sources come from records that were created by someone who is required to document accurate records, an eyewitness or a person involved at the time of the event. Some of these include vital records (birth, death, marriage or divorce), family bible, deeds, military records, census information, naturalization records, and more. A family bible would only be considered a primary source if the events were recorded at the time they actually occurred. It should be a genealogist’s goal to always acquire primary sources for the information they seek, because they are considered to be more accurate. It should be noted that just because they are primary sources it does not preclude them from having an error, although it is not a common occurence. This marriage certificate for my 2nd great grandparents verifies much information and enables me to confidently research the next generation back in my family history! #myfamilyhistory #welshancestry #goingbacktomyroots #findmypast #ancestry #familysearch #familytree #familyhistorian #myheritage #findingyourroots #historicaldocuments #familyhistorymatters #genealogy #familyhistory #ancestors #genealogist #traceyourancestry #findingyourroots #mylineage #familystory #backstory #documentingthepast

This photograph was a complete surprise. My mother in New York City, August, 1950. She would have been 11 years old. I have no idea why they were in NYC, nor do I know who the little boy is. My grandfather did a wonderful job taking the photo. He caught a sweet moment between the little boy and the man on the left. I can’t figure out what’s in the man’s hand, but my mother and the construction worker on the right seem to be entertained. When I look at this photo I feel like I’m right there on the street with them. I can make out the marquee in the background, CBS TV Presents Winner Takes All with Bud Collyer. I looked it up, it was originally a radio show, then it became the very first game show to air on CBS network television. It was the first game show to have two or more contestants compete against each other. It was also the first game show to have contestants ring a buzzer to answer a question. And it was the first game show of its kind to have returning champions. Who knew? I’ll never know why they were in NYC, but I sure am grateful to have this photograph in my collection. Happy Birthday to my big brother, Stephen. My brother and I are nearly seven years apart, so we weren’t especially close growing up, but I always looked up to him. He did everything first. I remember going to his high school football games and track meets at Tollgate, and how excited my mother would be when he came home on college break from Villanova. He’s lived overseas, mostly in SE Asia, for probably 25+ years now. And although there are many miles between us, in the past few years, I’ve felt closer to him than ever before, especially after our sister’s passing. I somehow feel protective of him now. It’s a rather sobering thought as you get older that there are fewer and fewer people who remember your past. I’m so thankful we can reminisce about our childhood and all the fun times we had. Time is precious and it flies by. Enjoy your senior citizen discount Steve, can’t wait to see you again. 34/52 #myoldfamilyphotos #ayearofreflectionandoldphotos #oldphotos #familyphotos #oldfamilyphotos #myfamilyphotos #lakewayhistory #lakewayfamilyhistory #familyhistory #myfamilyhistory #savefamilyphotos #bigbrother

I’ve been thinking a lot about my sister. How much I miss her. The last time we were together, ten weeks before she passed, I believe she knew it would be the last time we’d see each other. She startled me that final morning, as I was waking up, she was sitting there watching me sleep. Now my big sister is watching over me from heaven. We had one of the best visits in years. We laughed, we cried, we reminisced. She shared things she had never shared before. We were open and honest. We knew each other’s strengths and weaknesses. We knew each other better than anyone else could, like sisters. She was a good sister. I grew up in awe of her independence. She was an excellent role model after our mother passed. She loved me dearly, and I always felt it. She never missed a holiday or birthday. How I wish I could pick up the phone and talk with her one more time. Life is short. Hold your loved ones close. I miss you, Debbie. This is her first grade photo from Sacred Heart in Jacksonville, FL. (The second is an Olan Mills classic, which I forgot I had already posted earlier this year). 33/52 #myoldfamilyphotos #ayearofreflectionandoldphotos #oldphotos #familyphotos #oldfamilyphotos #myfamilyphotos #lakewayhistory #lakewayfamilyhistory #familyhistory #myfamilyhistory #savefamilyphotos #sisters #bigsister

This beautiful photograph of my mother was taken by my grandfather Pépé in their livingroom in Woonsocket, RI, September 10, 1956. She was 17 years old. There are three things that stand out to me in this photo. First, is my mother’s beauty. She looks so elegant for seventeen. Amazingly, in a little more than two years after this photo was taken, she would marry my father. I also can’t help but notice the collection of Wedgwood china displayed on the shelf behind her. That blue dinnerware was given to my parents as a wedding gift and they continued to collect more pieces throughout their marriage. My niece, Jessica, who was born on mother’s three-year memorial, has their entire Wedgwood collection, which makes me so happy. The other thing I noticed is the figurine at the end of the mantle. I inherited that piece when my Nana passed away in 2004, and I’ve never noticed it before in any other photos. It’s a Royal Doulton Harradine figurine called, Yeoman of the Guard. My grandparents were Anglophiles and loved purchasing items on their European trips. It’s amazing the Wedgwood and porcelain beefeater have survived for 70 years without damage. 32/52 #myoldfamilyphotos #ayearofreflectionandoldphotos #oldphotos #familyphotos #oldfamilyphotos #myfamilyphotos #lakewayhistory #lakewayfamilyhistory #familyhistory #myfamilyhistory #fugere #fugerefamilyhistory #savefamilyphotos #wedgwood

Last week my niece commented that she hadn’t realized my father also played baseball and basketball (his Track & Field and football accomplishments are well-known in our family). So this week I’m showcasing a few of his basketball and baseball photos. After dad graduated from North Kingstown High School he attended the University of Rhode Island for a few months, then his family moved to Australia. I found a newspaper clipping explaining the circumstances. “As a member of a Navy family it has been necessary for him to pull up stakes many times. His step-father, Judson Cokefair, a chief petty officer then stationed at Quonset (Point), was transferred to Melbourne, Australia, as a naval attaché, so Fred had to interrupt his studies at URI and take off for the land down under.” It was in Melbourne that he “got interested in track. Actually, I was always interested in running but we had no track team at North Kingstown so I played the other three sports.” Here are three photos from his time playing basketball for the University of Melbourne Basketball Club, a couple of photos from high school baseball days, and the last photo is of he and his sister Shirley, when he played baseball for North Kingstown Junior High School. I’ve also included two (cropped) newspaper clippings about his time in Australia. 31/52 #myoldfamilyphotos #ayearofreflectionandoldphotos #oldphotos #familyphotos #oldfamilyphotos #myfamilyphotos #lakewayhistory #lakewayfamilyhistory #familyhistory #myfamilyhistory #navyfamily #melbourneuniversitybasketballclub #mubc #melbourneunibasketball #northkingstownri #savefamilyphotos #basketball #baseball

As I mentioned yesterday we have been having a good old sort out at little Wren Cottage and I found my Daddy’s evacuation suitcase , he and his two brothers were sent off to Devon for a “holiday” as they lived in London..so William , George (dad) and Alfred “the three kings “ were put on a train wearing their names on a label, one suitcase between them and a currant bun each ( can you imagine how their mum and dad felt) Dad told me he was sad but excited to be going on an adventure, they were greeted at Exeter station by officials and then told to wait to be picked up, they were lucky to be kept together and a kind couple Mr and Mrs Carter came for them on a horse and cart and took them to their farm. The boys had a wonderful time in charge of feeding the chickens, pigs etc and were very lucky as some children had a terrible experience, Dad said they could have stayed there forever, but obviously missed their own family desperately. I’m not sure how long they lived in Devon but I do remember dad saying that they came back to London with West Country accents ☺️ ..pictures from the internet..sad and happy times xx #myfamilyhistory #ww2evacuation #evacuationsuitcase #differenttimes #keepcalmandcarryon #mydadsstory #wartimeinengland

Last week I highlighted my father’s football accomplishments in high school. This week I thought I’d mention his induction into the University of Rhode Island’s Athletic Hall of Fame. Fred Lakeway, Class of 1959, a standout track star in the 1950’s, earned five varsity letters and held the University’s 220-yard dash record of 20.7 seconds, recorded in May 1957. He received the coveted LeBoeuf Award as a top senior athlete at URI and held the all-time 100-yard dash record until 1960. Lakeway had a distinguished career as a Navy aviator. I’ll also note he was voted “Big Man on Campus” by his fraternity Delta Sigma of Sigma Chi. Clearly, my father was a hardworking man, and expected nothing less from his children. I’m sure my father’s accomplishments were a tough standard for my brother growing up. My brother followed in my father’s footsteps; playing high school football, Track & Field at Villanova University, and also a Naval aviator. 30/52 #myoldfamilyphotos #ayearofreflectionandoldphotos #oldphotos #familyphotos #oldfamilyphotos #myfamilyphotos #lakewayhistory #lakewayfamilyhistory #familyhistory #myfamilyhistory #savefamilyphotos #uri #universityofrhodeisland #bmoc

It’s Super Bowl Sunday so it seems appropriate I post a few photos of my father from his time playing football for North Kingstown High School in 1953/54. I found these brag-worthy gameday highlights in his yearbook. North Kingstown’s Football Team experienced one of their most successful seasons in many years. Game 1: Fred Lakeway broke the game wide open in the final period with a 71-yard jaunt for a TD. Game 3: Lakeway scored the Skippers first touchdown in the third quarter on a 60-yard run from scrimmage. Game 6: Fred Lakeway scored three touchdowns on a 43-yard run with four and two yard bursts through the Barrington line. The Skippers scored another touchdown on a 40-yard pass from Lakeway to Bob Ayers (my father and Bob are still friends 70 years later!). Game 7: The Skippers scored an easy victory from the opening kickoff, as Fred Lakeway returned it 85 yards with the aid of a terrific block by Cliff Dunning. Lakeway then scored three more times on runs of 65, 37, and 22 yards. Game 8: Lakeway scored on runs of 60 and 35 yards and a three yard plunge. Game 9: The long-awaited day of the South (Kingstown) game finally arrived. The Skippers met their arch-rivals at Meade Field and were victorious over South for the first time since 1932. North was supported by some 1200 rooters as they witnessed a hard fought ball game from the opening kickoff. .. A few plays later, Fred Lakeway broke away on a 51 yard jaunt straight up the middle to pay dirt. I always knew Dad was a great athlete, what a treat to find these game highlights. 29/52 #myoldfamilyphotos #ayearofreflectionandoldphotos #oldphotos #familyphotos #oldfamilyphotos #myfamilyphotos #lakewayhistory #lakewayfamilyhistory #familyhistory #myfamilyhistory #savefamilyphotos #football #nkhsfootball #northkingstownri

Atlantic City, NJ, circa 1963/64. I previously posted the photo of my grandfather Pépé on the Boardwalk feeding pigeons (last photo). I always loved that photograph of him. Imagine my delight discovering these additional images! I think it might have been when my father was stationed at Toms River/Lakehurst. I was not born yet, and this was before we lived in Neptune, NJ. It looks like this was at least two different trips to the boardwalk. It must have been something they did when my grandparents came for a visit. There are three types of photos represented here; the color images are from stereo transparencies, then the square images, and the final image is 35mm. I can see a camera with a case in my father’s hand. My grandfather would have taken the stereo slides. It’s amazing how much historical information you can see in the photos. The Planters Peanut store with Mr. Peanut (a bag of peanuts was 5¢), James’ Saltwater Taffy, WFPG, General Motors Exhibit, Childs (Plain and Fancy) Restaurant, McCrory Cafeteria, Seaside Hotel, and Taylor Pork Roll. Waffles were 57¢, ham & eggs $1.17 and a sirloin steak was $1.97. Check out this gorgeous photograph of my mother, it’s new to me. It was sent to my sister last year by our cousin. I can’t stop looking at it. She’s so pretty, and her smile is perfect. It’s hard to believe that she’s been gone longer than she was alive! My mom was definitely extra-special. I miss her so much. The photo itself is very well executed; the lighting, the pose, the vignette, the sepia tone etc. The photographer’s signature reads, E. Tenczar. I looked him up. Edward’s photo studio in Woonsocket, RI was a four-generation studio with more than 70 years of service. He was past president of the Rhode Island Professional Photographers Association and the Professional Photographers of New England. I am so grateful for his efforts. What a beautiful photo. I love and miss you, mom. 27/52 #myoldfamilyphotos #ayearofreflectionandoldphotos #oldphotos #familyphotos #oldfamilyphotos #myfamilyphotos #lakewayhistory #lakewayfamilyhistory #familyhistory #myfamilyhistory #fugere #fugerefamilyhistory #savefamilyphotos #tenczarphoto

When my sister passed away, I inherited her collection of old family photos. This little beauty is of my mother’s father Pépé, and her brother & sister, Uncle Joe and Aunt Louise. All I know about this photograph is from a notation that reads, World’s Fair. Which would make this circa 1939/40. Joe and Louise would have been about five and eight years old. I can’t imagine how excited they must have been traveling, by train I assume, to New York for the World’s Fair. My mother was born right around this time, so it’s possible that Nana stayed home in Rhode Island with my mom while these three traveled together to NY. I may never know the true circumstances behind this photo, but that doesn’t change how much I cherish it. I also wonder, when I see photos worn out more at the top than elsewhere, if it was in a wallet. I don’t know if people still keep photos in their wallet because we all have smartphones, but it used to be a big deal to have a bunch of photos in your wallet to proudly show off to family, friends and strangers. Maybe it was the original Instagram? 26/52 #myoldfamilyphotos #ayearofreflectionandoldphotos #oldphotos #familyphotos #oldfamilyphotos #myfamilyphotos #lakewayhistory #lakewayfamilyhistory #familyhistory #myfamilyhistory #fugere #fugerefamilyhistory #savefamilyphotos

The last voicemail I received from my sister was about this photo. She was so excited about it. It’s a rare photograph of Nana & Pépé before the great depression hit. Debbie had just received it in the mail, along with two other photos, from our cousin, Joanne. On the back it says, California, 1928. So this was about two years after they were married. I’m assuming they were on vacation. I love their swimsuits and Nana’s bathing cap. The first photo matches the original, the others I removed a few blemishes and played with the contrast. 25/52 #myoldfamilyphotos #ayearofreflectionandoldphotos #oldphotos #familyphotos #oldfamilyphotos #myfamilyphotos #lakewayhistory #lakewayfamilyhistory #familyhistory #myfamilyhistory #fugere #fugerefamilyhistory #savefamilyphotos

Here at Pixorium, we talk a lot about what makes a photograph "a keeper." Sometimes a not-so-perfect picture is the perfect picture! Yesterday marked the one-year anniversary of my sister Debbie’s passing. It would have been her 62nd birthday. My sister loved the fact that I was doing an old family photos project. The only thing we ever argued about was the timeline for completion. I started the project in January 2016. I thought creating a post every Sunday was a realistic goal, not knowing it would go into a 5th year. I lost momentum at the start of Covid, my last post was in March 2020. I made a lame attempt getting back into the project with 15 additional posts, last one in August 2021. She was so upset with me that I let the project go stagnant. Well, I made a promise to my sister, and I have every intention of honoring that promise. I dedicate this project in memory of my beautiful sister, Debbie. I miss you so much. I’m sure you would have known the year and location of this photo, and probably would have even remembered the dress you were wearing. P.S. Debbie selected this song for her funeral - I played it when my father, brother and I placed her remains at my mother’s gravesite in June. 24/52 #myoldfamilyphotos #ayearofreflectionandoldphotos #oldphotos #familyphotos #oldfamilyphotos #myfamilyphotos #lakewayhistory #lakewayfamilyhistory #familyhistory #myfamilyhistory #savefamilyphotos

Julia Biot, my 3x great-grandmother, was awarded $6,000 against the Brooklyn Heights Railroad company for damages for the death of her husband. Merry Christmas! This is a photograph of me, my brother, and my beloved grandmother, Bumbum, on a Christmas long ago. As a child, I waited for Christmas every year. Regardless of where we lived, Bumbum came. Julie Andrews sang out “Joy To The World” from the Firestone LP with the pink cover, her clear, bell-like voice singing those glad tidings of great joy. We put up a real tree, decorating it with ancient ornaments and those we’d made. And then it was finally Christmas Day with stockings, opened one by one, each person waiting for their turn to open their next gift. Then breakfast, then more gifts under the tree, again opened one by one, accompanied with joy and laughter, silliness and love. I still wait for Christmas every year. Now I cherish the quiet introspective season of Advent and try very hard to practice it, making space between the inevitable bustling activities the holiday season brings. Wishing you a peaceful and joy-filled holiday! #christmasthrowback #1960s #lifeisastory #pixorium #pixoriumatl #vintagephotos #photoorganizing #saveyourphotos #photostory #photostorybook #photobooks #photobookdesign #photoscanning #archiving #photostorytelling #savefamilyphotos #oldphotos #myfamilyhistory #gettoknowyourfamily #howdoyoutellyourstory #myfamilystory #familystory #oldfamilyphotos #familyphotos #familythrowback #familyhistory #foundphoto #vintagephoto #foundphotograph #vintagesnapshot

🔍🕵️ Samuel Frampton's Unanticipated Detour: A Brush with the Law in 1874! ⚖️🏰 In a surprising twist to Samuel Frampton's narrative, the pages of 1874 reveal an unexpected chapter marked by a lapse in judgment. On the 29th of June, Samuel found himself entangled in a regrettable incident, accused of stealing a woollen shawl belonging to Ellen Bridle. This escapade unfolded at the Mail Coach Inn, where, after a few drinks, he made a decision that would alter the course of his life. Initially pleading not guilty under the counsel of friends, Samuel eventually changed his plea to guilty. The gavel fell, decreeing one calendar month of hard labour at Dorchester Gaol, a stark contrast to his days in the military. Released on the 28th of July. Samuel's Staff Sergeant spoke of his prior good character and conduct badges. As the courtroom listened to pleas for leniency based on his family and clean record, this unexpected detour adds a layer of complexity to the tapestry of Samuel's life. 🚔📜 Where will your family history searches take you? 6/9 #LifesUnexpectedTurns #HistoryUnveiled #dorchestergaol #UnearthYourAncestors #JourneyThroughTime #FamilyHeritage #Genealogy #FamilyHistory #Ancestry #FamilyTree #GenealogyResearch #UncoverThePast #familylineage #myfamilyhistory #familytreesearch #makeafamilytree #createafamilytree #genealogyresearch #ancestrytree #jointhedots #jointhedotsresearch #whodoyouthinkyouare #genealogyuk #archives #genealogyservice #Findmypast #DiscoverYourHistory #JourneyThroughTime #militaryhistory #britisharmy #armyhistory

Happy Hanukkah to those who celebrate! Today marks the beginning of Hanukkah (or Chanukah), which lasts through December 15. Hanukkah, also known as the Festival of Lights, is a Jewish festival commemorating the recovery of Jerusalem and subsequent rededication of the Second Temple at the beginning of the Maccavean revolt against the Seleucid Empire in the 2nd century BCE. Hanukkah is observed for eight nights and days. The festival is observed by lighting the candles of a candelabrum with nine branches, commonly called a menorah or hanukkiah. One branch is typically placed above or below the others and its candle is used to light the other eight candles. This unique candle is called the shamash. Each night, one additional candle is lit by the shamash until all eight candles are lit together on the final night of the festival. (copy credit: Wikipedia) #lifeisastory #pixorium #pixoriumatl #myfamilyhistory #gettoknowyourfamily #howdoyoutellyourstory #myfamilystory #familystory #oldfamilyphotos #familyphotos #familyhistory#hanukkah #jewishhistory#festivaloflights #familylegacy #happyhanukkah #hanukkah2023

Široké zákopy z druhej svetovej vojny - Oščadnica Pod jedličníkom, zárubok Kamoľov a Vyšňáov - stav z roku 2012. O tom, ako moja babka za mladi so svojou sestrou chodila kopať zákopy počas druhej svetovej vojny, som sa tu už zmienila. Dnes pridám ďalší z čriepkov tohto príbehu 😊 Bol rok 2017, kermaš a my sme s babkinou sestrou Annou sedeli u nás na chate. Vegetácia ustúpi, padne námraza a my zrazu vidíme v teréne pozostatky dávnych príbehov. #mojkysuckyrodokmen #oscadnica #kysuce #druhasvetovavojna #zákopy #historickageografia #myheritage #myfamilyhistory #secondworldwar #trenches #slovakia #history
