Our mission is to identify elasmobranch species in Sri Lanka and construct Sri Lanka’s first comprehensive DNA reference library for 48 shark and ray species using next-generation sequencing technology. The results of this study will be game-changing for the conservation of elasmobranch species in Sri Lanka. We will be able to validate the visual identification of elasmobranch species, track species-specific catch data and trade flows, and assess population trends by monitoring species distribution over time. The genetic data generated from this study will be added to the Genbank and Barcode Of Life Database (BOLD), providing a comprehensive resource for researchers and conservationists around the world. *डीएनए न्यूज़: जयपुर भ्रष्टाचार निरोधक ब्यूरो मुख्यालय के निर्देश पर जिला कलेक्टर दूदू हनुमान मल ढाका व हंसराज हल्का पटवारी दूदू द्वारा रिश्वत मांगने के संबंध में शुक्रवार को पीसी एक्ट की धारा में प्रकरण दर्ज कर निवास स्थान डाक बंगला दूदू, व तहसील कार्यालय दूदू में तलाशी की जा रही है। भ्रष्टाचार निरोधक ब्यूरो के उपमहानिरीक्षक पुलिस प्रथम, डॉ रवि के निर्देशन में अतिरिक्त पुलिस अधीक्षक, जयपुर नगर द्वितीय,सुरेंद्र सिंह के नेतृत्व में सर्च कार्रवाई की जा रही हैं । जिसमें जिला कलेक्टर दूदू के निवास स्थान डाक बंगला दूदू व तहसील कार्यालय दूदू पर तलाशी की कारवाई की जा रही है। उपमहानिरीक्षक डॉ रवि ने बताया की परिवादी द्वारा शिकायत दर्ज कराई गई की दूदू मैं उसकी फर्म के नाम से 204 बीघा जमीन में से कुछ खसरे तालाब /पाल क्षेत्र में होने के कारण कन्वर्जन करवाए जाने की बात को लेकर एक शिकायत जिला कलेक्टर के पास होने पर उसमें कारवाई नहीं करने के ऐवज में दूदू कलेक्टर एवं पटवारी द्वारा परिवादी से 25 लाख रुपए की मांग कर परेशान किया जा रहा था जिसमे 21 लाख रूपये लेना तय हुआ। उल्लेखनीय है की 21 लाख रुपए परिवादी द्वारा ज्यादा होना बताकर 15 लाख रुपए लेना तय हुआ जिसमें 7.5 लाख रुपए कलेक्टर द्वारा अपने डाक बंगले पर मंगवाया जाना रिकॉर्डिंग वार्ता में स्पष्ट हुआ हैं। ब्यूरो द्वारा प्रारंभिक जांच में दूदू कलेक्टर हनुमान मल ढाका व पटवारी हंसराज द्वारा रिश्वत की मांग करने का सत्यापन करने के उपरांत दोनों के विरुद्ध पी सी एक्ट की धाराओं में प्रकरण दर्ज किया गया। अनुसंधान में प्रारंभिक तौर पर परिवादी की शिकायत जिसमें रिश्वती मांग का सत्यापन का प्रकरण बनना पाया जाने पर न्यायालय भ्रष्टाचार निरोधक ब्यूरो जयपुर से सर्च वारंट प्राप्त कर जिला कलेक्टर दूदू के निवास स्थान डाक बंगला दूदू व तहसील कार्यालय दूदू में तलाशी की कार्रवाई की जा रही हैं। . . . . #jila dudu #dudu update #dudu news #ACB #Jaipur #Rajasthan news #anticorruption #DNA News

Gather at Ludington’s!” Sybil Ludington rode 40 miles to warn Putnam and Duchess counties that Danbury had been sacked by British troops and was burning. She was sent to muster the freedom fighters who were to report to her father Colonel Henry Ludington at once. The reason Ludington’s troops were on furlough was because it was April and it was spring planting time. Sybil’s route on April 26, 1777 began in Kent, New York and continued though the counties Putnam and Duchess. Sybil rustled over 400 soldiers from their beds to join the fight. Although the Colonials lost the Battle of Ridgefield, Ludington’s troops gave the British a fighting sendoff as they made their way back to Long Island.
