I think this was a tomato plant. We’re in the process of building a frame to net the vegetable garden so we might get some produce from it next year. At the moment the wildlife are so hungry here. We’ve had next to no rain. The pademelons are punching through the fencing and chomping anything and everything that has a tinge of green to it. The currawongs are eating all the tomatoes and ripping the seedlings out, if the wrens haven’t already eaten all the leaves, and the possums have given the fruit trees a hard pruning. It’s a balance when living here. We know the wildlife are going to eat stuff. But it does get frustrating. So for now the kale and spinach and everything else will get eaten by the critters, but hopefully things will be different later this year and we’ll get some much needed rain. #threepaddocksandahill #countrylife #countryliving #slowdown #tasmania #farmlife #whereistherain
