Of my crassula collection, C. columella requires a bit more water and can tolerate being on the outer edge of my grow lights while still maintaining compact growth. The cluster in the main photo was made from 4 small cuttings (3rd photo) that I planted in mid-November 2023. Compared to the cuttings I planted in 100% lechuza w/osmocote, these did so well in 50:50 succulent soil to perlite. I ended up switching over the lechuza cuttings to this mix instead. The cuttings in lechuza had rooted nicely but developed no offsets. Den är oftast allra först med blomningen här i trädgården. Av den klumpen blev det 12 plantor. Hade kunnat dela på fler av de. Nu tar jag ett par av de och sätter på en ny plats. When I started my dahlias in pots a couple of months ago, I pinched them back to make them bush out for sturdier plants. I saved all the tops and placed them in potting medium to root! The result? Bugün tuttuklarını ve yeni yapraklar verdiğini görüyorum 🪴 Zincirli uzayan türleri çok seviyoruz, kibar, piti piti yapraklar... 2 çok ayrı ama birbirine benzeyen tür var burda: 🐢 Biri; "Peperomia prostrata", kaplumbağa kabuğuna benzeyen yapraklarıyla ingilizcede "String of turtles (Kaplumbağalar zinciri)", Türkçede "Kaplumbağa sırtı" olarak geçiyor. 💚 Diğeri ise: "Ceropegia woodii", ingilizce"de "String of hearts" yani "Kalpler zinciri", Türkçede ise "Kalp kalbe karşı" olarak çevrilmiş. Her ikisi de dal ve yaprak diplerinden kökler salabiliyor. Çoğaltılması, bu kısımların nemli ortama temasıyla mümkün (Su, torf, perlit, yosun vs.). Bir peperomia olduğundan kaplumbağanın yarım yapraktan çoğalması bile mümkündür muhtemelen (Hiç denemedim, bir tahmin). I know, I keep showing up with my Marantas. I absolutely love them. I took a lot of the cuttings from the mother plant about a month back. Now that they have beautifully rooted in water, it was time to pot them up back in the mother plant pot. And so now its soo full, and I can't wait to see the new growth. She's back in #semihydro from @soil.ninja ( #pon ) in a #selfwateringpot This helps them keep the soil consistently moist and my Maranta's love it 🥰

My weather app keeps threatening frost- so I am running out of room inside for seedlings! The ironing board now has two trays…. The french beans are going to the unheated greenhouse by Sunday…. Frost or no frost! Has anyone else found seedlings to be moving slowly this year? I think it is just the weather, looking back a year things were already planted out and growing on.
