Golfing two days in a row at Waialae Country Club ⛳️ Sunday, April 28th 4:06pm Tee Time (9 holes) The employees at Waialae Country Club are amazing. As soon as I parked my car, a golf cart pulled up and said he’d take me to the range. I was perplexed how he knew I was there to golf because I could been going to play tennis or to dine. He said he saw me yesterday and remembered. The other person who helped me yesterday was like “Welcome back!” My practice shots at the range were on point, but Argghhh… today, I bombed 4 holes, didn’t par any… 2 bogeys were the best 😢 scored 57 (played only front 9). I hit the ball into a bunker in almost every hole… I think the sand was calling me to ground. Can I blame it on the 2.5 hour hike I did earlier this morning? Hiking and then golfing with a push cart was a major workout for me. So much so that I actually ordered Nachos at the Grille. For those that know me, I eat healthy and am always eating salads and fruits. Today was quite the adventure! We took Dad out to breakfast at Runcible Spoon and showed him the downtown Soma. Got some coffee and then Dad and I drove to the middle of nowhere Indiana to attempt to pick up a plane. The trailer was just a smidge too narrow so the rest of the plane will be another trip but we at least got the wings! At one point I almost got "hit by a plane" as it was coming off the trailer but thankfully I ducked. Lol. ☔️🌪️🥶 Excuse my massive hood but April in the UK has seemed like the longest, coldest, windiest and wettest month ever!?!! (Possibly since life began 😆) How are you? Apologies for being so quiet.. I’ve been busy with the build and getting mum’s annexe ready. Took a little break from socials as there weren’t enough hours in the day 💁🏽♀️ Only problem is, I always find it quite hard to get back on the insta train, if you know what I mean?🚊 I love to disappear for a while but it’s finding that balance of sharing and showing up again once recharged and reinspired ✨ And there’s nothing like builders and bad weather to drain the life out of you! 🫥😆 Remember, you can rest but don’t give up 💪 All this will be worth it. All the hours, all the mistakes, all the wrong turns and re-runs 🫣😬 It’s all leading you somewhere. Just keep looking and learning.
