Booties that were made by Ellery’s great Granny for me to wear 37 years ago - so special to remember previous generations in this way and very grateful for my Mum @dianaannehill for taking such good care of so many handmade items over the years and bringing them to Australia to be enjoyed all over again. I took this picture tonight with literal tears in my eyes. Almost 2 years ago our weeks looked a lot different before Nate started working at his current job. Most days he’d leave for work before anyone was awake and wouldn’t come home until the kids were already asleep. That was such a hard season on us all. I’m so grateful for where he is now & that I can always count on him coming home at the same time every day at 4:00. He even typically makes supper for us every evening (thank you Jesus for giving me a husband who loves to cook!) & never misses the bedtime stories and prayers with the kids. 🥹 I don’t know how long this schedule will last, but I’m thankful to be here for the moment! If you or your spouse are in a hard season of work I pray that you can continue to choose joy as you endure and have hope that better things are to come for your family! You’re not alone ❤️
