Monday review. 🎉 A Game of Lies @bookmarked @claremackwrites Available now 👏🏻👏🏻 👉🏻A Game Of Lies is the second installment of the DS Morgan series and I already love it and am so invested. I love Ffion and her unorthodox ways. The first book here is The Last Party (which I loved) and in my opinion this one can be read as a stand alone, but you will want to read the first one too. This is a procedural for the most part but it’s mixed with some reality show crazy here. I’m a reality show junkie so this is right in my wheelhouse for both things! 👍🏻 When Exposure (reality show title) comes out in this atmospheric Welsh town - secrets are threatened to come out (for the contestants) and everyone tries to protect theirs. Murder and mayhem ensues and Fii and Leo get to work, thrown together once again to work on this case. I really enjoyed this one and love the bits of personal stuff too for both Fii and Leo. For those of you who understand the value of keeping your mind (and as a result, body) healthy and trusted me as their therapist, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. As a primary schooler who went through a traumatizing bullying experience, the only way out of my misery was to switch to another school. That new school gave me an avenue to increase my self-confidence, and I never looked back. By the time I graduated high school, I had no doubt that I wanted to become a therapist. I appreciated the human angels who helped me to reach a stage where I could love myself enough to want to pass it on to others. Seeing a therapist has been such a taboo subject for decades. But did you know that presently 1 in 3 people suffer from some form of mental health disorder? If such is the case, should not our priority be to make sure that we invest in our mental and emotional well-being? Dear friends, seeing a therapist is NOTHING to be ashamed of. If paying someone to understand and validate our feelings is something that makes us appreciate living, then it is absolutely worth it. Once you have found a match that resonates with you, the ultimate goal of therapy is to help you live your best life while knowing that you are enough. That's right.
