I’m a full believer that life, and traveling, does not have to stop just because you have kids. Everyone, including my husband, thought I was insane for wanting to fly 8 hours to London and travel another 5 hours by train to Edinburgh, Scotland with our five month old. And maybe that does sound insane but it was 100% worth it! Not only was she free to bring along and SO easy to travel with at that age, but we actually got extra benefits for traveling with her that we wouldn’t have received otherwise. One example was free seat selection in the bulkhead seats on the plane which others would have had to pay an upgrade for. We also never had to pay to use a restroom (which is common in big cities). People were so nice and accommodating our entire trip and it made our first trip as a family such an amazing experience. Were there challenges? Absolutely! Will she remember it? Not at all. The Vennel at night. The best place to sit, watch Edinburgh Castle, and contemplate life. I also had the great joy of taking about a hundred pictures of tourists on the steps. A few people joked I should put down a cup and charge 😂 but I never minded. It was just a pleasure to do it and watch them enjoy their holiday. The Vennel 🧡 Moim zdaniem najpięknieszy widok na zamek w całym Edynburgu! Wydaje mi się, że to miejsce jest jeszcze mało znane, ale już coraz częściej można znaleźć zdjęcia stąd na Instagramie.
