Packing light but packing right! Heading to NOLA for a work trip but taking along my 10-month old co-worker and my husband! Here are my must-haves for traveling with baby on business trips that are tried and true tips from yours truly or your fellow moms right here in this community! — toys! 🪀The spinny guys in this photo are a must- have! They cling to the window (we have a window and middle seat) and baby can spin until his hearts content! I’m praying to the plane Gods that these keep K busy (came highly recommended). — snacks! 🍬Usually K eats what we eat but I opted for some actual little baby puffs and yogurt bites as well as nibbles from our snacks during the flight. — our @doonausa ! We are 10 months going strong with this worthwhile investment. I didn’t know how long we would be able to use it, but I’m so happy to report we’re still going strong. This baby will be game changer for airport travel with an infant. So easy to use! — AirPods! I’m highly sensitive to everything (yea, I do have a gazillion children so that’s a bit of a mismatch). I do best traveling (ie. existing?) with a bit of buffer by way of earphones. — meds- magnesium, orajel, Tylenol (in case we need to pull out the big stops), arnica tablets (can you tell someone is cutting teeth?) I didn’t have to worry about bottles because I opted to bring my husband and babe along for this work trip which means my conference is in the same hotel that we are staying at so I can just pop out to nurse him. I can’t tell you how many times breastfeeding has saved my sanity!!!! Truly. I always hear the alternative- breastfeeding was bad for my mental health. But for me? Breastfeeding is GOOD for my mental health. No bottles, no formula to pack, just my body. Highlights from our April trip in Paris. We took on the endeavor of traveling with two children half way across the world, and it was quite the experience. But it was well worth it as they got to spend time with their paternal grandparents and that side of the family. This time around we did a lot less sightseeing. Coming here as often as we do, we are starting to feel like “regulars” of the city who happen to pass through from time to time. Nevertheless, we made an effort to see a few key places, including making sure baby T got her spotlight at the top of the Eiffel Tower - just like her big sister did as a baby. After staying close to home for well over a year or two due to my challenging pregnancy, it was nice to get a change of view and perspective. Keputusan ini merupakan hasil rapat koordinasi terbatas yang digelar di Kementerian Koordinator Bidang Perekonomian bersama Kemendag, BP2MI, Kemenperin, dan Ditjen Bea Cukai Kemenkeu, pada Selasa (16/4/2024). "Hasil dari ratas ini terkait barang PMI, Permendag 36/2023 itu di-hold, dicabut, kemudian dikembalikan ke Permendag Nomor 25," kata Kepala BP2MI Benny Rhamdani di Kantor Kemenko Perekonomian, Jakarta. Dengan dicabutnya aturan itu, maka tak ada lagi pembatasan barang bawaan dari luar negeri ke Indonesia. Benny mengatakan, khusus untuk PMI, pembatasannya hanya dikembalikan sesuai dengan relaksasi pengenaan bea masuk dan PPN senilai US$ 1.500 per tahun. We wanted to make a little post to introduce ourselves a bit more and we'd love it if you'd jump to the comments and share a bit about yourself too so we can get to know each other ☺️ [🇩🇪 ᴵⁿ ᵈᵉⁿ ᴷᵒᵐᵐᵉⁿᵗᵃʳᵉⁿ] So, hello fellow food and travel enthusiasts, meet us, the traveling trio that's always on the hunt for the best food 👨👩👦 We actually met 11 years ago during a summer I (Vanessa, "𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗺") spent at home when I was living and studying in Amsterdam. After a year of long distance, "𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝗱" followed me to Amsterdam to study there too. We lived together in a 15 m2 room in a flat with 3 roommates for 5 years because Amsterdam housing prices are horrible. Soon we realised, even on this tiny space we work out perfectly 🥰 Yet it was rough as we both lived off 200€ per month each. Once we found some side jobs next to our master's, we did everything to save money and go on our first trip. So we spent 4 weeks in Thailand and Myanmar on a tiny budget of 850€ and it was AWESOME 🏖️ especially food wise 🤤 In the following years we ate our way through Guatemala, Mexico, Belize, Singapore, Malaysia, Italy and Greece. Since I travel for my job, I also ate my way through Uganda and Rwanda. After 6 years in the Netherlands we moved back to Austria and we transitioned from absolute budget travelers to mid-range travelers who like to splurge every now and again. Especially when it comes to eco- and family-friendly accomodation 😋 And since 1.5 years, our 𝘄𝗲𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗲 joined our journey. This little extrovert helps us make even more new connections and puts a new perspective on everything by simply being present in every moment and easily content with so little. We've travelled quite a bit, mostly to see our families and friends but our longest and farthest trip was 6 weeks in Singapore and Bali when he was 10-11 months old and it was an amazing experience we wouldn't wanna miss.

On our last day, we visited Park Borély, which is a public park created from an 18th-century castle estate. It is free to visit. It has small lakes, cafes and a wonderful arboretum. Unfortunately, when we were there, the fountains were not working yet. It is absolutely worth taking a walk in the park with children, because they can meet cute pets up close. 🤗 After the park we went to a restaurant nearby our apartment. The food was really good. 🍔 Restaurant name: Brasserie Manhattan *** /🇭🇺 Utolsó napunkon meglátogattuk a Park Borély-t, ami egy 18. századi kastélybirtokból kialakított közpark. Utah ✅ Our first family trip out of state was successful!. We got to see the Beehive state and some of Salt Lake City’s monuments, best places to see📍 , As well as just have some fun with the kids. Traveling with two kids isn’t easy 😅 but try traveling with 5!! We also got to meet some great people as well and one father shared his travels of taking his 5 kids across the states 🇺🇸. His advice was to be as flexible as you can with time ⏰ Otherwise you become irritable and will lose out on enjoyment. Here’s some family friendly travel plans. 4 months with our baby girl and we finally got out for a “camping,” trip. In reality we took a long day trip with @scaleoftwo and tested out our set up and baby camping gear as a little mock trip to see how May handled a day in the woods before committing to an overnight. We are glad we took this approach since we learned a few things along the way that will make us better prepared for when we do a real camping trip in the next few weeks. Day 16-17: Lovely Miombo Woodlands! Onwards we’ve traveled about 4.5 hours south to Tembusha Forest Camp. I don’t mind the clouds and rain. The well built campsites are nestled on a farm with, get this, a bathtub! Talk about lush! A couple days to hike and relax before the bustle of Lusaka. Hiking was more like bushwhacking through chest-high grass and precociously scrambling slippery granite, but well worth the fun of exploring relatively untouched forest.
