Many are still asking what is @area15official and what can you do? Area15 is an art and entertainment complex with restaurants, museums, shops, galleries and out of this world. Many of the venues are still closed, but there is still lots to do. Whike we were there we had to try the ice cream @emackandbolios. Their ice cream cones were out of this world, we picked one with fruit loops on it which added a nice crunch to our strawberry ice cream. Afterwards we headed to @oddwoodbar, to sit under the beautiful tree you have to be 21 and over but we were able to relax in Sanctuary. I ordered a willow cocktail and wonton tacos. Here's a tip, you can order some of their cocktails as a mocktail if you want to get one for your kids. Behind Gallery360 is another food venue with some yard games. Tables with swing chairs where you can play jenga or connect four and a seesaw was some of our favorites. On the second floor we found a few arcade games and was able to get a beautiful view of everything. To visit Area15 is free but reserving a ticket is required. A lot of people aren't able to reserve their tickets until end of October. The good news is @winkworldofficial is expected ti open end of October as well! Wink World is a psychedelic art house meets carnival funhouse that will have many art installations you will be abke to interact with. We ended our visit with some light shopping @wildmuseboutique. They had clothing, toys, accessories ranging from $1 into the $100s. We ended up buying Wendy some cute heart glasses, googles, and a toy robot. One of our favorite things to do when we are in Downtown Las Vegas is checking out all the street art. It's like having your own free art gallery in your own backyard. There's many beautiful pieces and many murals are being added all the time so there is always something new to discover. @dtalleyvegas located between Fremont, Carson, Las Vegas Blvd, and 6th, is one of our new favorite places. It is filled with stunning street art and multiple interactive installations. There is a community piano, an alley library where you can take or leave a book, and a puppet theater or confessional. Each time I have visited its been closed, hoping next time I'll be able to interact with these pieces. The Venetian and The Palazzo Towers of Las Vegas. We recently visited dT-alley, Las Vegas’ first ever alley revitalization project, located between Fremont St and Carson, and Las Vegas Blvd and 6th St. It feels like a mini art gallery right in our backyard. A lot of love and care can be felt on every piece. There’s art on the walls and on the floor and everywhere you look you can discover something new and beautiful. I love the sense of community you feel when you walk down the alley and are able to see what can happen when a community comes together to better our surroundings. It is something I am proud to share and experience with my daughter and I hope more families in the Valley will come down to experience the same. ...but we weren’t done yet. The Venetian Las Vegas unveiled LOVE, a larger than life installation in the Waterfall Atrium. Created by celebrated artist Laura Kimpton as part of her Monumental Word Series, the installation, perforated with bird-shaped stamps, spells LOVE in steel Ruby red letters that rise 12 feet tall and collectively span 36 feet across, creating a memorable experience.
