I've never taken part in a seasonal project pan partly because I normally do a year long project and I don't want to overwhelm myself with too many products. I’ve recently been focusing on my Too Faced palettes for the #nopanleftbehindchallenge . Before I started using these palettes, I would have told you that there was no way I was getting rid of any of them. But now after using all of the shades, I’m not sure. Let me start out by saying that I love the Hot Buttered Rum palette, and I will definitely be keeping it. As far as the other palettes go, I’m conflicted. I love the colors. I love the matte shades. But both palettes have very chunky metallic shades that create lots of fallout, and I struggle to make them look even across my lids. I haven’t decided whether to keep these palettes just for the matte shades, or whether to be ruthless and declutter them. Day five!! Today I feel like being glamorous! (I left the fake lashes on until the pics were done lol!!) I don’t know what it is about lashes, but they make me feel different. I couldn’t see myself wearing them in my everyday life. But I also may buy a different pair just to try something different and make sure that’s how I feel. 🤷🏻♀️ Today’s look was accomplished with Toofaced’s Hot Buttered Rum palette. I was actually lucky and found it at Ross. Ours is finally starting to carry more makeup! I don’t believe you can find it for sale much place else now, unless you get lucky at one of those stores, or eBay, poshmark, etc. What I used: Bottoms Up as transition, Sin-Ammon in the crease, Spiked on the outer corner and a little in the crease, Warm & Fuzzy on the lid as well as a touch of Buttered Rum on the lid, Whipped Cream in the inner corner, Vanilla Extra on brow bone and Born to Rum on the lower lash line. I used the entire palette!! I think this is a really cute smaller palette. It’s a cute addition to my collection but definitely something you don’t really need if you have these shades in your collection, which for the most part, you probably do. But I felt that they were pigmented, and blended easily. Mine doesn’t really smell hardly at all sweet. But I’m glad I got it to play with nevertheless. I hope you’re having fun keeping up with me! ✨My Eyeshadow Palette Collection, Part 9✨ Hello! Today, I am showing my Too Faced eyeshadow palettes. I love the formula of Too Faced eyeshadow palettes! I love the packaging and the sweet scents in their makeup. In my opinion, Too Faced excelled in holiday makeup last year. I was so glad when they released their Gingerbread Spice palette last summer because I had a chance to order it. The Hot Buttered Rum palette was a pleasant surprise and my first mini sized palette in my collection. I have other mini sized palettes in my collection now. My regret is not getting the Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar palette. I love the Chocolate Bar palettes. Sure, they are safe compared to other exciting palettes but I often want a soft, natural makeup look. These are my go to palettes for comfort. This book is sort of a blast from the past when Daxton, a former teen celebrity, who was her major crush and rival from law school, unexpectedly shows up at Kailyn’s office needing her help for his sister’s custody battle. Kailyn is torn between hating him or helping him during a very tragic time of his life. The synopsis is intriguing and I can’t wait to find out what happens. 🎨 Collection: @toofaced 8-pan palettes. I love smaller palettes, I usually find them more fun and inspiring than larger ones! These Too Faced mini palettes are particularly good because they're so compact and travel-friendly and still offer enough variety that they're not boring. I just wish all the pans were the same size/shape, the two rectangular pans in each palette just look weird to me. . 😮 side note: I've finally(!) reached the point where I don't want to buy any more eyeshadow palettes. I may change my mind next month but I am getting to the point where I'm a bit overwhelmed by my collection so I'm putting more time and effort into appreciating what I already have!
