When chunky becomes overstuffed you may as well just go for it! I took half of the pages out of this book before I turned it into a journal. I'm using cheap blue ink in a #preppyef as the paper I'm writing on (to use it up) isn't the best quality. Today I thought I would get out my journals and she what I'm working with! Turns about alot, I might have a bit of a problem or I'm very organized🤣 1st Picture: the beautiful women journal is where I track my social media for my @everybodiesyogallc work and my author work, the green one is my gardening journal for tips and tricks what works what doesn't 2nd Picture: these are my art journals, the delicate flower one in back is for junk journaling, the bold front flower one is for art journaling, and the moth one is for sketching challenges 3rd Picture: the flower one is for recording as I learn about deeper yoga oractices/philosophies, the tree is where I track trips, diagnosis, shows, lists, etc, the blue boreal bliss one is for deep journal writing and exploring self, the mandala one is for meditation 4th Picture: the back my journal is for recording your day, friends one is where I'm. Urgently jounaling all the medical stuff I currently have to keep track of, and the top brown one is my monthly bullet journal 5th Picture: flower bird one is a fun journal I bought with just random questions about life, the blue book one is for recording books I read how I rate them, etc., the adventure starts here is my current journal where I write my poetry, and the beautiful one in the back is where I write and keep my poetry for yoga that I use in classes. I remember when I was less than ten years old, I went over to my cousin's house, and there for the first time I saw her journaling, and It was her creativity and enjoyment of journaling that inspired me to do the same. Over 16 years and 50+ journals later, I was once again inspired by my brother to go through, reflecting on every journal and typing it up. Today, I begin another journey to my past. I’m going to use a planner for the first time in many years. The goal is to reduce the number of book journals I keep; this year I used 5 for different purposes and it was too much to keep up with. Day 27 of #inktober2021 I broke more of my own rules. I used the same inks and pens that I used earlier. And, I bought more sketchbooks, although I'm not sure the #fieldnotes garden sets should be considered sketchbooks. The ledger style lines make me feel like Lapin.🤣🤣 and, to make matters worse, #lochby had half off the pocket notebook cover I have been craving. So, here I am, breaking all the rules. I’m ‘home’ in NC, visiting Mom in my childhood home one last time before she moves to a new house. Which means: a neverending sift through personal ephemera. This is the big one — the final cull. Everything must go. It’s a dislocating experience, strangely draining and anxiety-making (but what if someday I NEED this autograph book from 1992?!), with a few bright spots. Like evidence that I’ve always written, and that most of that writing has always been concerned with clothes and food. Or do you know any other five-year-old whose favourite colour is black? 𝙻𝚎𝚝’𝚜 𝚝𝚊𝚕𝚔 𝚓𝚘𝚞𝚛𝚗𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚗𝚐… 𝚊𝚐𝚊𝚒𝚗!! I’m so excited to share the progress I’ve made in my movie journal. I don’t keep track of these on a monthly or yearly basis. I just saw a picture on Pinterest and knew that I had to try it out and this is how it looks so far! I’m not done yet, but the main frame is finished!! I’m too happy to contain it. So I actually bought these journals sometime last year and got two of the ME ones. So I thought it would be cute to include how it looked from the front as well. I also did this template way back then, but was stuck and had no clue where to go after that. The image I was using as a reference had a list of TV shows and movies that were on Netflix, but I didn’t particularly favor most of them so I thought I’d write my own list! So, thanks to Bookstagram, I’m starting to work on my Netflix journal again! QOTD: How many journals do you think I have? AOTD: I’ll be honest, I don’t know the exact number either but I know the approximate so the first person to guess or come close will get 5 additional entries… so guess away!
