Here is a question I get a lot…how can I make my plant fuller? The best way I know is to propagate, you simply take cuttings of your plant and once rooted you place them back into the same pot. Some plants don’t even need to root, you can just simply place them back into the soil. What happens is where you make the cut a new growth point is activated and the growth will continue, but now you also have a whole new start with the cutting. You can do this as many times as you want, just take your time. Taking too much at once can cause stress to the plant. I want to know what your favorite trailing plant is!! I love my pothos, but there is something about a full pot of micans that makes me smile. I trimmed off around a foot or more off my trailing pothos and micans philodendron this past weekend. They are looking a little more perky now! I had to pull the micans out of the corner for a close up. I have been rearranging this shelf again. The one maranta was getting too big for its spot. Hoping it doesn’t crisp up too much sitting on its own.
