Anxious bc he is a black man walking around living his life and he is being profiled by the police and has these fears of being killed by the police. Rightfully so. Joyful bc he and her had such a strong intimate connection with each other. Sad bc he wasn’t able to express himself and make himself vulnerable with her. I’m so thankful!!! April is not the best time for a flower farmer to be gone from home! We usually have 100’s of seedlings in different stages of growing. So… when this family vacay came up, I was quite worried about who was going to take care of my seedling babies. I was so worried I even prayed about it! ( I’ve had family and neighbors take care of them before…disaster!) One day I decided to ask a gal who runs a small, local nursery if I could hire her to babysit my seedlings. She said “no problem!” I returned to find happy, healthy plants. Not only that, but she offered to start some of the seedlings I hadn’t started yet for me! 🎉🎉What a blessing! A couple years ago I got SUPER into Bonsai videos on Youtube. Watching them every night to relax 🤣and decided I wanted to learn. I have four black pine seedlings that are about 2 years old, that I started from seeds. Can I get a woop 🙌🏽 woop?! Was checking my prop jars and boxes recently and discovered that both methods of propagating my Watermelon Peperomia are showing new babies! I’m at a loss for words so I’ll steal a quote from the movie Selena “…me siento muy… me siento muy… EXCITED!!” 😜 This is the first time I tried propagating Sandy. I took some cuttings and put them in water and then I took another leaf and cut it in half and placed the cut portion in moss inside a prop box. My little mini me. Miss Adeline is me, and staring at her & watching her is like looking in the mirror with a Time Machine. It’s honestly so wild. She wants to do everything I do. She is a sponge and tonight after her venture with Dad she helped finish planting some snaps. All she kept saying was mom, “can I do it” “mom can you show me” “how many more do we have left.” We went inside, got ready for bed, had some deep chats and before I turned off the lights she said, “what are we going to plant tomorrow?” I said we will talk about it in the morning, goodnight. 🥹🥲. Moved my bioactive terrarium today to our buddy's house while we're living here temporarily. My partner was so considerate of my lil bug babies, I don't think I lost any of them in the move. He knows how much I love my terrarium. They are gonna hang out here till I finish building they're new space tomorrow. Our old property bug sprays once a year and I wanted them moved before they did, tomorrow is when they will be in our unit. Next I gotta move my plants. I know the maintenance doesn't mess with my terrarium, but recently a few rogue sugar ants got in and I was worried a pesticided one might try to kill my biom if it got in.
