On Saturday I also went out in search of bluebells and wild garlic, but this time to just outside the Killerton Estate near Broadclyst, Exeter, to a woods called Columnjohn. I was a little disappointed as I had hoped for a lot more of the wild garlic in the woodland and certainly some bluebells, but there was only wild garlic in certain places. There is a path that runs the length of the woodland and takes you right up to the border of the Killerton Estate, and I walked it all in search of what I had in my mind. Trying to find the perfect woodland to capture bluebells is really hard in Devon, so yesterday I moved just over the border into Dorset and what I thought would be a good place after checking online, but alas it wasn't. I then thought about going furter along to another I'd seen online but it would have been an other hours or so drive, and once I saw what the traffice was like I gave up on that idea :( Then I remembered Blackbury Camp near Seaton in Devon. The last time I was there was on 11th April 2021 but I was a little too early so never got to see it in all its beauty, so headed off to see what it was like now. I was pleasantly surprised as there was a massive carpet of bluebells in the centre of the old Iron Age hill fort. The sun was out for a very short time when I arrived but then decided to hide away. I really wanted to wait until the sun had dropped down low to give a softer glow across the scene but in the end I didn't stay as it was also quite cold in the wind and wasn't sure if the clouds would go away. So today I’m doing something a little different, and that’s reintroducing myself to everyone. My names Morgan and I’m a 24 year old self taught photographer. My end goal is to go to school for photography and graphic design and make it to the NHL or PWHL as a photographer. In winter you can find me in hockey rinks all over Alberta and this next season maybe BC. In summer you can find me travelling, at horse shows or hanging out in Edmonton with friends. Not only am I a photographer but I’m also into cars, I ride horses and love to travel. Hockey is one of my favourite things to take photos of but I will take photos of anything and I’m open to try taking photos of everything so if you need photos of something g in your gal. Today has been clear skies for most of the day so I wasn't sure if I'd see any at sunset, but headed out just in case. I went to Totnes and wandered around taking a few photos of the river from Totnes Bridge. As the sun started to set it highlighted some lovely wispy clouds to my delight so set up an unusal view of the bridge with the sun setting behind the church.
