Whew! I really challenged myself today and went off on my own to paint this morning standing the stream under the road culvert to get this cool reflection of the bike trail bridge (swipe to see the visitors). This afternoon at Augusta Shores, I have myself a really ambitious composition with a close-up cropping of the complicated bluffs. This evening as I was setting up paintings to dry in the basement, I saw the perfect interior composition and decided to paint it as a mini 5x7" (and now I want to do a whole series based on other people's workshops and studio spaces?!). Parry Sound Trestle Bridge, and sign from specific parking near the waterfront. It took a bit to see the sign and the arrow just right since the sign was pretty high, I think it worked. Also, this is just one photo, the bridge was very far away and I had to zoom in to frame the sign like this. So, the settings; iso800, 1/250sec f/32, this was the max for this lens and something I've never done before, f32 seems unnecessary but I think the lens preformed well and it did help bring the bridge into as much focus as possible.
