Lukas Dominates, Stops Singh To Win WBF World Title. Thailand-based Kazakh Angelina Lukas became the World Boxing Federation (WBF) Womens World Super Flyweight champion on Thursday, April 25, when she defeated Indian co-challenger Mamta Singh in Bangkok. 27-year-old Lukas was a level above Singh, and set the tone from the start, punching hard and frequently to both body and head. In round five the out-gunned Singh basically raised her hands in surrender at the same time as referee Sipho Ndongeni from South Africa decided he had seen enough, stopping the fight at 1:07 of the round. Lukas captured her third world championship, having won the UBO Super Flyweight title in 2022 and the WIBA Bantamweight title earlier this year. Time to share with you my very first experience in neon fluorescent show from the last #worldbodypaintingfestival2023. Once I already was a model for the neon bodypainting, but it was only for a studio shooting. This time it was real show with a team dance of three models💃🏼👯♀️✨And the most difficult part of it was for me, because my dance was performed on roller skates 🛼 By the way, all my skating experience was long ago and only in the ice skating ⛸️, so I’m not good at roller skating at all…😅 And I had only one month to learn how to move on roller skates gracefully😂 No need to explain you how much I was stressed before and during this show (especially because of total darkness in the concert hall and on the stage in order to reveal the effects of neon fluorescent bodypainting…))😱🙊🙈😅 And with my team models we’ve met before the festival only once online, and then each one rehearsed her part alone at home without all team. A lot of people are stuck just existing. They are not guilty of living. They are either stuck in the past with prior achievements or, worse, past baggage, outdated past beliefs, and or trauma. Or equally as bad, they are so obsessed in their future that they slave away for the future version of themselves only to find they never become that. It's a figment of their imagination. Because it never existed anyway. It creates anger, anxiety, and frustration. The list goes on! I have been equally guilty of both. This picture here for example, I've shared before. Probably more than once on different platforms. I feel this will be the last time for the obviousness of this post. I used to be attached to the old version of myself. For a period, I thought it was my identity. When that part of my life was complete, I felt incomplete! On the flip of that, I focused on my future self for more than 2 decades obsessed with breaking the working class cycle and creating generational wealth. Now, well into my forties. I have realised over the past years that none of it is real or relevant, and all we truly have and are is this moment. Presence, to be present. The present moment. NOW! I feel a deep level of gratitude for the life I'm living NOW! Sure, I catch myself elsewhere past and future, and that's usually when I'm lease settled. But I'm conscious of it. I've done a lot of work to get to this point. And I suggest you do the same, to help find the elusive PEACE within. I've learnt accolades or assets, and wealth will not buy this. Mngambi Comes Of Age Against Tough Pilane. The Vibrant Sports Studio in Cape Town, South Africa set the scene for a night of professional boxing, Friday April 19, promoted by Jackie Brice Boxing Promotions and headlined by a fight for the World Boxing Federation (WBF) All Africa Super Flyweight title. In a clash of South African compatriots, hot prospect Lwando Mngambi came of age as he passed his toughest test to date against the rugged Lebogang Pilane to win the vacant title. Many rounds were close, but Mngambi did enough to edge most of them, while Pilane tried his best to take him out of his rhythm and find a deciding punch before the fight went to the scorecards. Judges Oscar Noels, Elroy Marshall and Sipho Ndongeni scored the fight 98-92, 98-92 and 99-91 for the undefeated Mngambi. The new WBF All Africa Super Flyweight champion took his record to 6-0 (2), and Pilane drops to a misleading 6-8 (3).
