It was a beautiful and blessed Sunday morning we had for a SPRING NURTURE & REJUVENATE Crystal Healing, Yin Yoga, Pranayama and Guided Meditation Ceremony 🌿🌼 Gently working with our energetic rhythms, as well as the deep practise of Yin Yoga we held space for ourselves and perhaps for those we reflected on for Mother's Day ❤️ We also set intentions and reflections into a white Rose petals, placing into sacred water from the White Spring at Glastonbury. A ritual has been completed since, offering it back to the earth with blessings and energy.🏵️ Thank you from Sahara & Emm for all those who joined us, we always look forward to these beautiful ceremonies of which each one is unique 🙏 We are turning towards the light, dipping our toes in a fresh river, bringing ourselves out of the slumber of Winter and beginning to feel Rejuvenated once again. The origin of the word Gossip comes from 'God-sip', a fellow Kin who we could traditionally share our spiritual, personal and honest conversations with. In the destruction of women throughout history, having a 'God-sip' was considered to be unimportant, perhaps dangerous and certainly tied up within the Witchcraft hysteria. School Yoga for Children's Mental Health Week 🙏 Almost a million children and young people accessed mental health services in 2021. The most common mental health problems among young people are emotional disorders, including anxiety and depression. (Place2be.org.uk) However, from working in Children & Family services for a few years I know that there are THOUSANDS more children currently unwell or unable to cope with post-covid pressure who cannot get support, or don't meet the 'threshold' for services etc... This was a huge part of creating Wellness Within, as I wanted to work with children to help provide coping strategies, wellbeing toolkits, encourage personal expression and help them find their way BEFORE serious intervention is needed. A combination of Emotional & Physical Literacy, traditional Yoga, honest and open conversations can be expected in these School Yoga Sessions. This evenings Women's Circle was a restful and reflective evening, sharing wisdom gained from the year, bringing to each other our reflections. We used a combination of Sage, Palo Santo and Winter incense to cleanse and release our energy at the end of 2023. Hello from a tired & chilled version of me 🤗 Many of us are ready for wintering, feeling the need to slow down, relax more and find some quiet space.
