HAPPY// This is a tough one, but I choose to be happy. However, how do you do that while grieving so hard, living with high stress while raising a young family, working full time, keeping the household duties up, financial issues, being a good wife, mum, and friend, exercising, drinking enough water ect ect ect.. If all those stresses go away will it make me happy? I have pockets of happiness now. I do try to live a happy life. But, I don't want to work full-time for the next 35 years and miss so much of my son's life. I don't want to just make memories as a family on weekends and during 4 weeks of holidays a year. So yeah, in the ultimate world, I'd be happy if I could spend more quality time with my family making memories. I have to make changes to make sure I will be doing this. There isnt an option. EMBRACE THE DAY// My best friend is having her baby shower this weekend. She looked up to my mum like her own, like a mum she never had. They loved each other so much and Mum would have loved this baby like her own grandchild. It's hard when a new baby comes into a world without the one person you want to introduce them to or to have their influence on. I made a cake for her baby shower. It's something Mum and I would have done together. So I made it as a gift from her too. it was hard to do, I cried, but I found comfort in the whole process. It took 18 months to fully heal physically, after my cornea transplant. The inner healing took longer. I didn’t regain my sight.
