Did you know there’s places service dogs can’t go? One place is the operating room. Gilmore is being a good boy posing in front of the OR suite doors at our new job. Working for a hospital comes with great benefits and new challenges. Our hospital is so welcoming of Gilmore and it’s been an amazing experience, but sometimes my job requires me to go into suites he’s not allowed. On those days, I change up my routine a little bit. Gilmore gets some time off from work, and I up any medication I need to keep symptoms at bay and take extra precaution by wearing more compression clothing. Service dogs are not allowed in sterile environments, and for me to go in as a human, I need to gear up myself. This forced independence makes us a better team. We compliment each other, but we can also survive on our own. This allows us to thrive in life. Yesterday I went back to work. I started a new job, had a new nanny come to our house to watch the boys, put makeup on and got dressed nicely for the first time in weeks. The difference was that I didn't have to leave. I'm now working from home permanently and the goodbyes were seamless. I went upstairs and worked. At lunch I went to the park with my oldest while our nanny stayed home with the little one who was napping. I suddenly feel like I can breathe. Balance is entering back into my life as not just a mom but as a person. I felt like I had autonomy for the first time in a year. Simultaneously, I could cuddle my son throughout the day. I waited until the end of the day to see my younger son because I didn't want to have to do goodbyes all over again. It would be confusing for him I think. Hopefully I can share some working from home tips as I attempt to master the skill of WFH🤍

I've always been a hard worker. Come to find out I'm an achiever. It tickles my fancy when I'm super productive. 😆 Anyway somewhere along the way I wanted to do something with health/fitness because I do find joy in it and wanted to be that light and help others. I thought about being a personal trainer for a gym but didn't want to be stuck under their rules. I was introduced to online coaching through a friend who introduced me to another friend who thought I'd be perfect for this opportunity. It's funny how social media can be used in a positive way. I wanted an opportunity where I can earn extra money while working my full-time job, because shoot why not. Life happens and who couldn't use an extra weekly income. I wanted an opportunity where I didn't have to have a ton of products in my house. Because shoot let's be real I don't like clutter. I wanted an opportunity where I don't have to sell something. Ha! Coming from a teaching background I am not a seller and don't want to be. I wanted an opportunity where I can help others and celebrate their accomplishments whether big or small. When I celebrate others it makes me feel good. To see someone succeed in something is one of the most rewarding things to me. That's why I enjoyed teaching my kiddos in kindergarten. I wanted an opportunity where I can work my time, my hours with no supervision with a platform I can be as creative as I want to be. I've learned so much about myself and what I'm capable of through a coaching platform. I am looking for passionate, excited, determined, hard working humans that enjoy health/fitness but love sharing it with others. Even if you aren't sure what this looks like but you would love to learn and earn... And I use that word seriously EARN extra money by doing something you enjoy. I'd love to share how this works.
