This piece will be available to purchase amongst 6 other of Giuliana's select works! 'The translucency of mosaic images and the way colours can vibrate against each other always fascinated me. After spending many years living in the UK, I now have lots of memories from which to unleash my imagination. As times go by my urgency to paint has become more and more pressing and I hope that can be seen in this latest series of paintings, in the spontaneous energy of the paint that I apply on the canvas with the combined use of the brush and palette knife. I want to celebrate the beauty of the landscape that surround us here in England and Tuscany in a semi-abstract way. My love for colour combined with carefully constructed composition to hopefully achieve a pleasing balance, appreciating what we have, the landscape, nature, animals, coastline and the sea and all that beautiful inviting memories and the imagination that special gift that we have. Walk from dyls to millenium bridge and back 4. The shambles (very busy but it's essentially diagon alley) 5. Muséum Gardens 6. The market - there's a great flower stall and some excellent brownies 7. Visit @luckydays_1 for yummy food and sit outside to listen to the buskers 🍄☀️ 8. Visit @botanicyork 9. Visit the minster 🌱 10. If you love books visit @minstergatebookshop and @hebdentea next door 🌺 . For yarn, sadly the best yarn shop closed down because of silly covid but @duttons_for_buttons is super cute and the next best thing 🐙🌺 . . Building because in 1220, and the structure was declared complete and consecrated in 1472. York Minster has seen numerous restorations during its lifetime, but it remains true to the awe-inspiring Gothic roots. The minster’s architecture is stunning, but the real gem in the building and its crowning glory is the breathtaking stained glass windows. Some of the stained glass in York Minster dates back to as far as the 12th century. In total, the minster has a spectacular 128 colorful windows.
