Happy Birthday to my blog 🎉 🎂 While doing some ‘spring cleaning’ I realised that my blog is 15 years old 👵🏻 it was 2009 that I started to document my green beauty journey, although had been enjoying a health shop way before then ❤️ It was first called Notes On Beauty - I remember starting it on maybe a platform called ‘blogger’ and wondering if people would laugh at me! It’s had various guises over the years and varying amounts of attention from me. Sometimes loads, sometimes nothing but I always seem to come back to it. I’ve always loved writing about green beauty, sharing new discoveries and ways to ‘green your routine’. It even won an award once! I find now it’s more like a reference library that I share with clients when I think something is relevant to them. I love writing about skin health although I find makeup reviews seem to get the most attention. I’d love to know what you think.. Do you still read blogs? I spent a good chunk of vacation time seeking out nature. 🌲🐿️🕊️🦋🌳 It seemed to seek me out too. The squirrels stood to greet me. The pigeons were respectful. Robins said hello. Trees gave me hugs. I had time to visit the Public Garden in Boston and Central Park in NYC twice. 😁 Nature was a great buffer for my anxiety and a lovely way to connect to the city meaningfully. More on the blog!
So glad I got a proper workout in today. There's nothing like a good combat sesh to put the spring back in your step. We took Presley to his first ever Movie today at @hoytscronulla to see “The Gruffalo” and “The Snail and the Whale”… he was SO excited as you can see 😛 He loved it! Hi everyone! Today we went to @designeroutletyork , I’ve never been to that one before & it was all indoors. I filmed a little bit on stories while I was walking around so you can see what’s there if you’re interested. I had some early birthday money from my parents so I bought a Ralph Lauren belt in cream which I’d been after for ages but they never have stock usually. My husband bought me a white Radley bag, I’ve been looking for a white bag for a while for summer so it was a successful shopping trip! We then went back into York.
