🚨 This is my official petition to save Dinosaur🚨 From the desk of Cori Wynne: Dear Disney, I am a Dinosaur kid. I love them. Diplodocus: yes please. Spinosaurus: so cool. Tyrannosaurus rex: love them. Dinosaurs are one of the rare species that have ACTUALLY EXISTED on this planet that somehow don’t feel real at all. It’s hard to comprehend that these creatures once walked this earth and weren’t just conjured up from some fairy tale. This is one of the things that make the ride Dinosaur so special. Disney rides are designed to take you to lands and places that only exist in fairytales but the land that Dinosaur takes you too was actually once a real place ( or at least our best estimation of it) and that’s so cool! I’ve only got to experience riding in the time rover a few times, but both times it stirred that feeling of wonder and excitement for the past. Before you even get on the ride, you walk through a museum, a reminder that what is depicted in the ride was once actually real. Yes, the ride itself may be a little silly. Maybe even a little outdated and definitely way too dark in places, but the ride itself represents a core facet of Animal Kingdom to me: the need to understand, learn about, and respect our planet and the creatures who call it home. There’s plenty of room for IP elsewhere in the parks but let’s keep this one little bit of edutainment for us Dino kids. Just maybe update it a bit. Thank you! Disney's Animal Kingdom is one of my favorite parks at Walt Disney World! Some of my favorite attractions are Expedition Everest and Avatar Flight of Passage. And don't forget Kilimanjaro Safari, where you can see dozens of wild animals roaming freely around the 110 acres of land! The giraffes are my favorite to see on the safari.
