He and his teams have been totally killing it with five menus plus the upcoming fall season that they've been working on. It truly is incredible the work they put into their menus. I also got to see kylo Ren and stormtroopers. Miss Tiana was out and about walking through New Orleans square. I also saw Miguel! He's so cute. And then there was freaking DIANE KEATON! Had I not been lollygagging through main Street I wouldn't have had the moment I had on the esplanade. I immediately recognized her even though I wasn't close to her. She was just kind of meandering with a group of young adults. I walked by her I can't remember both of the things I said, but I did tell her how incredible she looked and she looked right back at me and pointed and said "you look amazing too!"🥹🥹🥹 She's such a legend! We had a great night at Disney After Dark; Star Wars Nite last night. Didn't stay all night (because it was already a long day) but roamed around in the unique after dark lighting, rode rides, and munched on different foodie things that aren't offered regularly. Waved at the Bith band on the river as we got off Big Thunder for the umpteenth-time for the day. I'm sure we could have wasted plenty more time if we wanted to get photos of us with characters or props, or tried more foods. I even think I saw Benedict Wong roaming around. (I looked up, smiled, and looked away in true introvert fashion. Realized who I thought I saw, tried to grab my husband's attention to confirm, but he had already slipped into the crowds.) Star Wars Nite 2024🌌 Let’s talk about it…. I have gone for the past 3 years now and I can honestly say this was definitely not their best work. The longest wait was the Ewoks we got in line about 8:50pm and it was an hour wait. It was a good idea to start with them because it took a chunk of our time. (They followed only 3 pictures per group rule so that helped move the line quicker) The only photo op that opened early was Luke Leía and R2D2, JABBA and Han Solo Carbonite. Also there wasn’t much time to really interact with the characters unless they had photopass for us it was the Ewoks and Jawas. For Darth Vader, Darth Maul, Anakin, and Queen Amidala was a walk through. Personally I didn’t like that because you were really rushed to get your picture and hardly were able to interact. Photo ops moved fairly quickly as well. We watched the First Order March which was really cool but also really short. Comparing it from the last years this was definitely lacking. There was no clone or rebel characters which were super popular and also no fireworks was sad because past years they went above and beyond with the fireworks! Disneyland or Disney World? One of the hardest decisions to make when starting to plan your Disney vacation! When I started to plan our very first Disney vacation for us, I looked at a few different aspects before making my decision. Some of the reasons why I choose Disneyland over Disney World included: ✈️ Flight Time. We are located in Alberta, Canada and the flight to LAX or SNA is 3 hours vs. 5 hours to MCO 🌴Vacation Length. Researching I found that Disneyland needs a minimum of 2 days vs. Disney World which has 4 parks and needs a minimum of 4 days. 👦Age of Brock. My son was only 4 when we first went to Disney. I knew long days would be hard on him and wanted to be able to walk back to my hotel to give him a break mid day, which was an option at Disneyland because hotels are closer and the parks are less spread out. Things to consider when booking your Disney Vacation: ✈️Location: California vs Florida. Flight or Road trip distance. 🌴 Length of Vacation: Disneyland is more condensed and easier to navigate vs. Disney World is more spread out. Disney World is 50x larger than Disneyland. 👦Age of Children: The age of everyone coming with you on your trip as well as height! I measured Brock before to see his height and what rides he could go on at both Parks. This is similar at both parks but good to know before you go. 🏰Attractions: Disneyland has the Sleeping Beauty Castle, 2. Parks, Carsland and a couple different rides including Matterhorn Bobsleds. 🏯Disney World has the Cinderella Castle, 4 Parks and 2 Water Parks including Animal Kingdom and Epcot which are very different than anything at Disneyland. Also Disney World has the Guardians or the Galaxy Rollercoaster, Ratatouille Ride and the Frozen Ride. 🏨Accommodations: if you are looking for a walking distance hotel for mid day breaks, Disneyland is the better option for you. If you don’t care either way both Disney World and Disneyland have hotels with shuttle busses. If I was staring to plan these would be the first items I would research to determine which park is better for my family. ❤️
