Το Golden Gate Park ειναι το μεγαλυτερο των US of A, πιο μεγαλο απο το Central Park, εχει λιμνες, καταρρακτες, δυο μουσεια, ενα conservatorium σπανιων φυτων, εναν συναυλιακο χωρο, japanese tea garden, φτανει μεχρι τον ωκεανο. Παρε ποδηλατα αμα πας και τριγυρνα. Δεν εχει τρελες ανηφορες αλλα αν δεν εισαι προ θα το κουβαλησεις και λιγο με χερι. Ενα απο τα μουσεια ειναι το de young, αν πας μεχρι τελη Ιουλιου ε και χασεις την εκθεση του Irving Penn, ενος απο τους μεγαλυτερους φωτογραφους του αιωνα που αλλαξε τη μορφη της Vogue, φωτογραφισε ιερα τερατα οπως ο Jean Cocteau, o Truman Capote, o Francis Bacon αλλα και εργατες, κατοικους της Νεας Γουινεας, Hell’s Angels, χιπηδες και γοπες τσιγαρων. Το Dolores park ειναι εκει που αραζουν σκειτερς, μπαϊκερς, νεοχιπηδες, τουριστες και γενικα ολοι για να λιαστουν. Το Castro ειναι η lgbtq+ Μεκκα με τα rainbow flags παντου στο οπτικο σου πεδιο και στα χαμογελα σου. Φαγαμε στο κλασικ Orphan Andy’s, μπεργκερ και philly cheesesteaks (οχι για σενα που παθαινεις καουρες). Τους εσυρα στα κεντρικα του Twitter/X για να πω Elon σε ψαχνω και τελικα ποζαρα κατω απο μια κενη πινακιδα με αερα 19 μποφορ γιατι εκτος του οτι το καμαρι μου αφαιρεσε το twitter, αφαιρεσε και το neon X γιατι του εκαναν μηνυση οι απεναντι που τους τυφλωνε. Καπως ετσι μπλεξαμε στο Tenderloin, τη μονη περιοχη που πρεπει οπωσδηποτε να αποφυγεις (αν δεν σε φτυσουν, κλεψουν, ξεβρακωθουν μπροστα σου consider yourself lucky). Big hike day yesterday. Was aiming to try and crack 30k, but legs were complaining from about 8 miles in so decided to cut the route slightly shorter. Breakfast was a couple of donuts from @hahdough and a coffee. Excellent donuts and plenty more to choose from continued on through the #panhandle park and onwards into #goldengatepark to hit the coast and then onwards into #goldengatenationalpark past the #goldengatebridge and back into the city for a total of 17.9 miles/28.8km. #whatcrewdo #pilotlifestyle #downroute #urbanhiking

Elder Mother is a monumental shade-bearing tree that moves with the wind. The 30-ft metal sculpted tree carries a 25-ft canopy with ever-changing illumination and color. After walking around Golden Gate Park, my friend and I dropped by Sip Tea Room @sip_tea_room for lunch. It was Thursday afternoon, so we had the place almost to ourselves (unlike weekends when they are typically all booked up in advance!) We ordered from the Lighter Fare Menu (available on the patio and inside on Thurs/Fri) which was a great deal for such a lovely mini afternoon tea. We had: 🫖 SIP Classic Tea ($25) - 2 sandwiches, scone w/clotted cream, preserves & lemon curd, shortbread fingers, tea 🥐 Savory Service ($22) - 2 Pork Sausage or Veggie Rolls, leafy greens salad drizzled w/lemon dressing, tea 📍Sip Tea Room @sip_tea_room 721 Lincoln Way, San Francisco (across from Golden Gate Park). I know next to nothing about shooting 120. I was finally able to take out this camera and try it for the first time after it’d been sitting in a box for a year, and in true lomo style I did it in a rush—didn’t read the manual, didn’t realize it has frame masks, didn’t pay attention to the counter. my haste (and hasty winding) resulted in these odd little windows: overlapping, off-center picture-in-pictures drenched in @dubblefilm PACIFIC’s dreamy ocean-blue glow. 📸🌊
