A lot of you may think of me as the girl portrayed in the first photo. When I see that photo I feel confident, strong, powerful, and beautiful ✨❤️🔥✨ but behind this image of the person I *sometimes* am (and aspire to be more often), there’s the real me with my anxiety, stress and insecurities all tied with a bow that I label ⚡️MENTAL HEALTH STRUGGLES⚡️ I feel that there is a stigma around mental health that it’s silly or makes us look weak if we focus on it and do things, like set boundaries, to maintain it. I think that’s ridiculous. We’re all going through something, big or small, and I wish we’d talk about it more! ❤️🔥 So in hopes of reassuring you all everyones got their issues, that no one is the curated image they post, and that I too am aboard the struggle bus quite frequently - I’m sharing photos of a recent bacne breakout I had from taking too much of a daily supplement: B12. Happy to answer any details in the comments ✌🏽 I’ve suffered from acne most my life and have never found a natural remedy to help it. That is, until I found running, eating healthy, became vegan and began prioritizing sleep. All of these things have also helped significantly with my mental health and that improvement far outweighs any skin remedies as a result 🌟 THIS IS MY REALITY! And I hope you find solace in the flaws I’ll show you on my page! 🔥 The curated images on here can mess with our heads, so for mental health’s sake, be cautious of what you see online. The start of the year has been pretty rough for me. I had expectations that on January 1st, all of my stress from the end of 2023 would just disappear into thin air and guess what…that did not happen whatsoever 😂 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Because I’ve been all over the place mentally and physically, I decided to great myself a new program that started slow to help me build consistency and my whole goal is to tie fitness back to my faith. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I’m currently training 3-4 days per week. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ For my nutrition I’m consuming about 2,100 calories and at least 140g of protein per day. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I haven’t missed a day with my supplements which is a big thing for me because for whatever reason, vitamins are so easy for me to forget to take 🙃 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Energy has been pretty hit and miss but I’m putting that more on the fact that I’ve been extremely sedentary the past 7 months so I’m adjusting to this new routine. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I do have a goal to lose weight but I’m also not making that a priority. If it happens then it happens but right now it just feels really good to have consistency back in my life which helps with my confidence since I’m showing up for myself every day. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But to be honest - I wasn’t 100% ready to jump into a new routine because I’ve been struggling with so much anxiety lately but I knew I needed this. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And that’s my reminder to you. You may not feel ready, you may not be excited to show up, but you have to do it if you want change in your life. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Do it tired, angry, sad or unmotivated. Whatever it takes, show up for yourself because you deserve it.

Beograd je danas bio najpozitivniji grad Evrope. Za mene je današnja trka bila moja najlepša trka ikada jer sam trčala sa mojom decom. Naša prva zajednička trka. Nisam osvojila svoj PB ali sam bila 6’ brža nego 2022 kada sam poslednji put trčala istu trku. Moj sin je bio moj pejser i velika podrška u održavanju pejsa. Njemu je ovo debitantska trka. Bravo sine, i od danas si još bolji čovek jer si uspeo da ostaneš u mom (puž) pejsu bez obzira na fizičku snagu koju posedejuš i sa kojim si mogao da trčiš bar 21 min brže polumaratonsku dužinu. Znam koliko je teško obuzdati mladost i snagu. Ti to jesi💪 Tu je bila i moja ćerka, zvezda sjajna. Bravo zvezdo moja, što si uspela da sama izguraš svoju prvu trku i svojih prvih 10km sa čipom na majci. Odolela si izazovu bola koji si osećala i velike vrućine koja nas je sve mučila. Medalje koje ste dobili neka vas podsećaju na to da dragocenost nagrada koje dobijamo je direktno proporcionalna uloženom trudu #bgdmaraton #mozestito #halfmarathon #trčanje #runforfun

W planie na dzisiaj miałam po prostu poranny trening. @muski_influruncer jednak rzucił wczoraj wieczorem propozycję, by wybrać się na mini wycieczkę i bieg do Gaszowic. No to jedziem! I było warto 😇 Trasa - choć niezbyt prosta; pofalowana z dłuższym podbiegiem pod koniec - bardzo fajna i malownicza! 😍 Na starcie kilka znajomych twarzy 😊 Atmosfera - genialna! Cały bieg tym razem na spokojnie, nie na maksa, w miarę równo i bez szarpania tempa. Można powiedzieć, że to ostatni trening przed środowym półmaratonem 😁 Meta? 50:24 i 1 miejsce w kategorii wiekowej 😍 Dodatkowo Radio 90 z okazji swojego 30-lecia nagrodziło zawodników z miejsca 30. i 90. 🇮🇹Fucino Half Marathon conquistata. Prima metà gara allegra, ero convinto di fare PB. Poi crisi nella seconda metà ma tempo comunque decoroso anche se più lento di domenica scorsa alla Pedagnalonga. Hanno influito il caldo e il percorso un po’ monotono (3km ad Avezzano e poi 9 km di rettilineo in campagna ad andare e 9 di rettilineo a tornare). Soddisfatto comunque per aver chiuso due mezze maratone in due settimane, non mi capitava da febbraio 2023. . 🇺🇸Fucino Half Marathon conquered. Cheerful first half of the race, I was convinced to make PB. Then crisis in second half but still decent time although slower than last Sunday at Pedagnalonga. The heat and the somewhat monotonous course (3km to Avezzano and then 9km of straight country to go and 9km of straight back) were influential. Niedzielne zawody na własnym podwórku, czyli Stery na sport z Uruzem, 10 km trailu po ścieżkach znanych i wielokrotnie przebiegniętych, ostatnio jednak to w większości trasa na spokojne wybieganie, już zapomniałem, że jak chce się tę trasę pobiec „szybciej”, to trzeba się trochę „sponiewierać” 😉 Dzisiaj to też spotkanie z liczną ekipą @sawolniejsiolsztyn Drużyna zgarnęła sporo miejsc na pudle w kategoriach wiekowych - bardzo wszystkim gratuluję!!!!!! Wow, what a day! Joined my amazing friends to celebrate Leo's 40th who was running 40km, I pushed myself to complete 32km which I had on my training plan. The route was a perfect tribute with the number 40, and the run was a mix of exhilaration and exhaustion, thanks to last night's birthday bash. But I refused to let the pain cave defeat me and pushed through to the end. And to top it off, we enjoyed some well-deserved drinks and food on a boat bar. To finish or not to finish Today was definitely the toughest race I’ve run. To say I got my 🍑 kicked is an understatement. My day went south early. At 7k after taking in my first gel, I started to 🤮. Every fluid I tried taking in just couldn’t settle in and came out pretty quick. Sorry to the runners watching me 🤦🏻♂️. By the end I had literally nothing in me. This would have bothered me more years ago. Today, I just move on. This race was a constant battle between my ego and pride. At 17k I made a promise to myself to finish no matter my time (not an easy thing for me to do) My body wasn’t injured so really no risk. There was no way I was going to quit today! As the heat got worse and the kms increased, I knew not being able to fuel would kill me and it did 💁🏻♂️ Positives… In the end, I kept my promise and finished. I won a slue of mental battles today and as I approach the half century mark, I’m just happy I can still do what I do. Even if I’m not as consistent as I once was. Thanks to all my running friends who saw the struggle and wished me well. 🙌🏼 Thanks to the @mississaugamarathon and all the volunteers. We share the good and the bad and we move on together to the next battle! ✌🏼

Körde en ”Bill Öster” @billosterr med kosten, sista fasta måltiden 07:00 på fredagen. Åkte upp i god tid med bästa supporten och fick en ganska god natts sömn 💤 🍔 energin fungerade klockrent, 30 g kolhydrater var 20:e minut, en salttablett i timmen och koffein vid behov 💩 bra magdag, vågat sluta med Imodium nu när jag kör flytande men kunde tagit en mer lättsmält sista måltid för det blev 3 riktiga toabesök men inget magont 🙏🏻 ⏰ första halvan 4:37, 62-88 km ca 5:40 & avslutar i 4:27-4:59 🧠 efter halva loppet lägger hjärnan plötsligt av, börjar kännas rejält mentalt och säkert även en del i kroppen men hjärnan är min största utmaning, en knapp timme senare säger jag till support ”detta är meningslöst” tappar all motivation, men fortsätter jogga och snyftar i spåret, @charliebergs kommer ikapp och genast blir måendet bättre 🦵 det gjorde ganska ont denna gång i låren och knäna, även tryck från skorna på ovansidan som kom strax efter halva loppet, ändå glad att jag valde mina något små skor 👟 ♥️ tack @charliebergs och @annahhedenfeldt för att vi kunde hänga ihop och hjälpa varandra fram! Utan er hade jag nog inte kunnat motivera mig denna dag!
